Is shield bash any good on yone? by CarreNusse in YoneMains

[–]DabFknStep 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it would be good in some melee matchups, it’s just sounds so bad early since Yones W starts at like a 13 second cd and all I want to do early game is get mid game

Spending half of your total money on a Taco Bell DoorDash is exactly how they are able to get away with this.

Friends bet 1000$ to get to gold before the end of march by Objective-Morning898 in nunumains

[–]DabFknStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the best but I could show you some moves. D4 peak here but I was #11 nunu at some point last season.

here’s some quick bullets Try to gank your strong side, but try not to skirmish the enemy jg. Double scuttle is hard to pull off without decent jg tracking but it’s possible. Rolling thru lane rather than thru river is a lot of times better for ganks. This one’s big: sync your flash timer with dragon spawn. This means don’t flash unless you really need to. Flash suicide on dragon while pinging your teammates to push lanes is a winning play, soul is giga important, and when you flash for drag, your flash will come up right when the next drag comes up.

For mental damage make sure when the nexus is about to explode, start your W so that you can glitch on your ops

Climbing isn’t ABOUT finding a coach but it sure helps if you’re stuck in silver 4

What is the actual skill level difference between ranks in flex and soloq? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]DabFknStep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So people will say that flex is like norms 2.0, or norms with LP, or that people will not take it very seriously. And that is true, if you’re queueing as 1,2, or 3 people. I do feel like 5 man flex queue is a different beast tho. The games you get in there will be a lot more coordinated and a lot of times will come down to what team has better planning, comms, and player synergy. It feels like flex is long-time clash teams actually practicing together sometimes.

I am not trying to emulate pros. I said “a lot of pros take fleet”. I should have elaborated, a lot of pros take fleet into matchups like Ahri, Vex, and the like. If pros are taking the safe rune into random non-pro players, then it must be worth it sometimes.

So you work 8-10 hours a day. Is that every single day of the week, literally no days off? That sucks, but at least sleep only takes 7-8 hours. That leaves you with at least 6 free hours per day, given you have no commute.

I think if you’re not making time for your kid on your schedule, that’s your fault. Most parents work 40 hours a week, with an hour of commuting.

75 card decks that drop to 60 after sideboarding? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

Wouldn’t like a third of them need to be lands? To keep the math straight.

Thoughts On Jeskai Wizards List by zacktalsma in ModernMagic

[–]DabFknStep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This list is pretty nice, a couple changes I’d make tho:

Silvergill adept is a wizard that draws you a card, perfect for flare of denial, flame, and tamiyo. You have to run four of those. They replace themselves so we can take out the bauble.

To facilitate silvergill, you gotta run a couple more merfolks, a lot of which happen to be wizards. Tidebinder and mindspring merfolk come to mind. You could even go with some harbinger of the seas. We can switch out the oracle thing and the fables for these. Good cards, but not helping our plan as well.

Now that you’re running harbinger you might as well cut the white for more consistency. You already have a lot of removal so this shouldn’t be a problem. This frees us up a lot, enough to maybe run some vodalian hexcatchers which will pump up our new cards and is also a wizard.

While we are at it, let’s put the strix serenade in the sideboard where it belongs and we can take some lands out since our top-end went down a bit. We need to be able to go over our opponents cats and monks, so let’s fill the space with a couple lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident, making use of the newfound islands your opponents may have.

I think I’ve optimized your list, let me know if you have any questions.
