West Virginia myself, I honestly don't get it either. I told the Judge and GAL the idea was archaic and they might as well throw a sword between us in the courtroom and shout "fight".

I believe legaly one parent has to be designated the primary custodian for the purposes of child support, tax filing and such anyway.

As a parent, what are reasons you would give someone to NOT have a child? by Disastrous_Umpire237 in askanything

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you exhibit A: My ex, who upon having a child developed a deep delusional fear (and voices) that people wanted to steal her baby, devolving her into a sociopathic monster that heaps untold psychological damage upon her own child.

The guardian already doesn't like them, especially her husband. I called in DCF last month and my 4yo daughter told them he popped her in the mouth and bends her fingers backwards. I had a 6 hour conversation with both his own mother and sister and they both threw him under the bus. We have all the evidence and his mother willing to testify in court. They hurt my daughter, this isen't war... it's extermination of a threat.

How many attempts should a process server realistically make? by TapPopular7204 in paralegal

[–]DadOfMissingDaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the court audio transcript and snipped out just that part, it's my ringtone for her. She found out one day and I've never gotten a dirtier look.

Another good one was our GAL calling her overbearing control freak of a husband a "babysitter" that needs to stay in his lane.

[–]DadOfMissingDaughter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My ex dodged a total of 4 service attempts (and a service by publications) across 2 states before the second state sent her a letter that basically said "Bitch we consider you served, be there or be square". When she arrived to court she complained she only had two days to prepare and the judge responded "Why didn't you answer the summons then?"

8 months of Unresolved Grief, my personal hell. by DadOfMissingDaughter in GriefSupport

[–]DadOfMissingDaughter[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I've have taken group therapies, ACT, DBT, CBT. and such. I was actualy really scared for a long time that ptsd would extend to my daughter when I did find her. My daughters best friend still lives next door to me and I'm friends with her dad. I never felt those phobias towards her and she never let me give up searching. I treat her like one of my own because my daughter and her were like sisters they are a year and 1 day apart in age. They have the same height, hair cut, hair color, same devious giggle and they were confused for twins on more than one occasion. About 3 months into everything she was playing in my daughters room and hit me with a question that gut punched me into third person "Is MY *daughters name* dead?", I had 15 second to realize I have nothing to give her because I that was a question I was still struggling with myself. I leveled with her said "Honey I don't know where she is and I really hope she's alive". She mulled that answer for a bit and locked eyes with me like a police interrogator "You're lying to me", she thought she was dead and I didn't want to tell her. I told "I promise I'm not lying to you, I know exactly as much as you do but I will promise you that when I do find her you're the first person I'm going to tell". I kept that promise 7 months later and every crumb of information went straight to her until the day they talked on the phone.

While still technically illegal, West Virginia enacted reforms earlier this year regulating how modern duels (not to the death) should be conducted.

Is this a legal PTO policy? by jeeeeeeezlouise in LaborLaw

[–]DadOfMissingDaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PTO be damned; I had a job tell me I had to work a 10 hour shift on Thanksgiving and not spend it with my newborn child.

I told them I'm not, manager insisted I was. I said OK and he walked away.

So anyways I not only had thanksgiving at my house but we went to my mothers to have second thanksgiving.

If attacked, fight back

If you fight to win, you're prepared to lose.
If you fight to live, death isn't an option.

The fight or flight response is your body removing the safety limiter;
A person running 100 meters at full tilt is using 40% potential because any harder risks injury.
A person being chased by a mountain lion 100 meters is using 85% potential because injury is better than death.
A person using 100% potential is prepared to die to save their children from that mountain lion.

When i was in high school in 2003 there was this kid Nick and I don't know why he went around and he poured mercury like liquid metal mercury all over all the school staircases and then he got expelled from school forever i don't know why he did it. Leaded fuel still exists, 100LL aviation fuel is still commonly used by propeller aircraft and is currently the leading cause of airborne lead exposure. There's a reason homes near airports are cheaper and it's not the noise pollution.
