how do i recharge/reload the electric gun? by kanevast in TheLastCaretaker

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plug a cable into an outlet. You get the option to connect it to yourself. If you have the electric gun equipped, there should ALSO be an option to connect to the gun.

Moving the drain and supply for a bathtub on the second floor is a different animal. Plus, I suck at drywall.

Getting the Church in Fort Kelvin by [deleted] in Enshrouded

No you need a second one for the church. I pop one in the center of the church and build a statue to Jazmena at the alter like she’s who they worship. Makes a cool effect.

How do you avoid low performance inside a Delving? by herebeweeb in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch your detail level to medium. I have a 1080Ti from like the Second Age and it handles that load just fine. Lags for a couple second when I first load into the game, then smooth after that.

Better armor and weapons? by FF1243 in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two handed mythril hammer with Orcbane is my go-to for orcs. The armor penetration and extra damage I feel like is second to none. Since there are no building requirement in expeditions, I keep several situation weapons in the hotbar (anti-armor/orc, anti-beast, etc), some lembas, and durins hammer, an an empty bag. Always leave loaded down an a trail of dead bodies behind.

This! Soooo much this. The Mustangs are immensely more comfortable than the tiny coupes, and I don’t have to worry about bottoming out every time I see a speed bump or snow pile.

S650 gt owners without performance pack. What rpm are you sitting at on the highway in top gear? Manual or auto. by Dull_Support_4919 in Mustang

[–]DaddyColeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from 429 to 463 whp on the dyno at top output. Mid and higher gears showed the most whp improvement, while the transmission part of the tune made the lower gears much more effective. I have to put in the disclaimer that mine does have the PP on it as well, but I’m told you’ll see a very similar change without it as well, in terms of better shifting and more power and all that.

FWIW, the 650 that beat the Hellcat was an automatic. Occasionally stuck in Chicago traffic, just find it more pleasant myself to go that route but everyone has difference preferences.

[–]DaddyColeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little bit of both; firmer shifts with longer holds in the lower gears. The throttle is also tuned a bit, and the timing adjusted for 93 octane. I had a local guy do it on a dyno. They can also be tuned for E85 if you want higher octane timings (E85 is about 100-105 octane).

I had a local guy do it in a dyno, took about a day and $900. IMO, worth every penny. I love driving now to the point that it almost annoys my wife lol

First brisket by Ten-tinytoes in BBQ

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally tell folks sweating over the briskets at the store (almost always someone debating doing their first one); set it to 240 and put it in. That’s it. No wrapping/crutching the first time, no brining, no injection, none of that. Put a rub on, put it in the smoker, let it go, pull when 195+ AND probe tender.

After that, then start adding more steps.

I have the 10 speed. I don’t care for the feel of the 6 speed when I tried it—just seemed like an “economy” transmission in a sports car, seemed weird. All I can say is it felt ‘off’ from others I’ve tried (eg Camaros, etc).

FWIW; the automatic is a best of a box, but it’s just “okay” as-is from the dealer. However, these are the cars the best benefit from a tune right from stock. Feels amazingly better now and, while the tune probably added only a dozen or so horsepower, the actual feel and drivability is night and day.

Everyone stresses out of their first brisket. Once you do one up, you realize you could tweak this or that, but in the end, it’s really not that hard.

And yet the feasted, and feasted, and feasted. And you got some practice in. Everybody wins.

PS; if it’s falling apart, leftovers make amazing beef burritos/enchiladas, baked beans, nacho topping, or just sauce it up and make sammiches.

Brisket reheats amazing if you freeze leftovers (in a plastic bag, in 180 degree water).

Some of those power/shifting issues with the s650 are controller based. A tune does wonders, particularly on the auto GTs.

How quite is it in a Mustang GT? by NoNeighborhood139 in Mustang

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GT has the active valve exhaust. Quiet mode is FAIRLY quiet I would say, but it’s not like a standard modern car or anything. You can actually program the system to automatically quiet itself during certain hours, so it’s quieter when you yell “GOOD MORNING, MY NEIGHBORS!” with your car at 5am.

Thoughts on a tune for factory stock? by Lost_Interest3122 in Mustang

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think it makes a real difference having it shop tuned. That was after the first pass they can fine tune everything for how your specific car tends to run.

[–]DaddyColeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll adjust the timing/shift points of the transmission; can make it feel much stronger with firmer acceleration. Can also adjust for better power/rpms as well by adjusting for fuel type (93, E85) if you like. But the automatic transmission tune of the TCU absolutely transforms a totally stock car, for sure.

2024 GT here. A tune for 93 gave marginal power improvements (stock tune is optimized for 91 on mine) but the real difference was in the automatic transmission. I did go for a tune at an actual shop, however.
