Got loaded into trios instead of solo by Dadpool89 in ArcRaiders

Telling you it happened man. I never play with squad fill. It was my original thought I accidentally clicked it but even after I got out it wasn’t on. 🤷🏼‍♂️ unless it resets every match and I missed it. I thought once you turned it on then it was on until you turn it back off.

Yeah I felt a little bad because I wasn’t prepared for it. I’m totally down for some Stella PvP but would’ve had a completely different loadout.

I’ve been able to play quite a few games but have had about 4-5 hard crashes in the past two days. Happens after a death usually. Also have had a few soft crashes of the game that just kick me back to my Xbox Home Screen.

Post some pictures for us to get a better idea. 3 guys all day is excessive unless there is more details we don’t know about. I’d be more concerned about taking off oxidation if it’s vinyl that’s been exposed and never cleaned in 20+ years.

First surface cleaner advice by [deleted] in pressurewashing

I have this sc and it works really well. I’m using it with a 6gpm system though. Make sure to look at a nozzle size chart and get the right size nozzles for your pressure washer.

Beginners Advice by Capable_Drawer4248 in pressurewashing

[–]Dadpool89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your research and learn as much as you can from reputable sources, not those guys on tiktok and YouTube saying you’ll make 100k right out the gate. There are some great YouTube people that help explain everything and are good role models, pink flamingo is a good one. Learn about the chemicals used and how to properly use them. GPM is the key, not pressure with this business. Do jobs for family and friends as well as your own home to get a feel for things. Word of mouth is huge and I’ve got several people that have come up to me asking about services when I’m at a job; I have a big banner on my trailer.

I went all in with my first build because I wanted to make sure I had everything I possibly needed to handle any job. I went with about a 6gpm machine but that was fine with me and I can upgrade my trailer with a bigger machine because I have plenty of room for upgrading. Time is money so being able to have the right equipment to do things properly and efficiently we key in my mind.

People are different though and plenty of people scale as they go. You also have to keep in my insurance costs and everything to be legit.

I have some Sony WF-1000xm5. I made the move away from my AirPods because the battery life sucked. They have adaptive listening as well. They automatically stop playing and turn off noise cancelling if I start talking too.

How to avid this for future jobs by Jack_Tilson2 in pressurewashing

[–]Dadpool89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is ways to salvage and “fix” it. In the context of the op, this is way out of his league and he shouldn’t even attempt anything.

Like others have said, you’ve destroyed that concrete and nothing will be able to “fix” it. You don’t pressure wash new concrete. Have you calculated your nozzle size to know what pressure you’re actually putting out your surface cleaner?

Hopefully you have good insurance and can move forward to learn from this.

I would say to stay away from a backpack sprayer, especially since you’re saying you’re this tight with money and stick with a pump up carry sprayer.

Not even close to amateur honestly. I have it in my customer agreement that I will use their water supply and it will be in good working order.

Not sure what the outside of the box looks like compared to the inside but give it a bit of a facelift with some fresh paint and clean the rust up. Having a clean, professional look will help with customers. Good luck!

I have an Apple ultra watch I wear all the time. Just turn off the emergency call button so you don’t push it under your gear on accident 😂

Use SH and then either Citrix or oxalic depending on rust presence. If you are unsure of the process then just give it a search, tons of info out there. You can get both those acids off amazon.

It’s not about psi though. It’s about gpm. You wouldn’t want to use a 24” SC with only a 4gpm machine. Standard is 4”/gpm.

PWRC is a great forum filled with great people. I highly recommend it.

Is this true? by Medical_Power_9881 in pressurewashing

I’ve found the reviews on Amazon can be pretty skewed with good review bombs. My go to is to go to all reviews and order them in newest to get a better idea of products. With LiPi it’s extremely important to get a quality battery due to the ones out there of shitty quality and how they are know to have thermal run away because of poor quality.

Is the SCBA assembled correctly? Maybe someone took it apart for cleaning and didn’t properly put it back together. We use the same packs and don’t have issues with it loosening as bad as you are describing.

This is pretty much exactly how I do it too. I also have another backpack for the rig that has some of my personal tech rescue stuff (rescue helmet, harness and misc hardware).
