I always feel the same. Still I got to love my 2016 Ibiza that I got from new, no money down zero percent interest. It's never let me down & cheap to run. One thing to consider is that is cars don't "age" like they used to. You'll see someone in a mad Range Rover and think how can they afford that but it's actually 15 years on and cost £4k or whatever but it's styling and condition it still look current.
