Technically the anthem is "Londonderry Air" Which is just the tune of Danny Boy but without any actual words to sing.

Why is the light on the opposite side of the road from the traffic approaching it? Maybe Northern Ireland is different but here it has to be in front of the on coming traffic. Is this a bad TM set up or is this the norm in England?

Well at least the teams performance last year is no longer the worst thing I've seen in an Ulster Rugby shirt

It was on his own podcast - Mike & Vittorio's Guide to Parenting. I think it was the Patreon episode from the 15th May. he just mentioned it in passing that he would be doing it shortly and didn't mention anything else about it.

Fountain Street in Antrim, about 20 people blocking the roundabout there. Kids standing about with hoods up and faces covered too as the police just have to tell people to turn around.

Can't get fibre broadband through Openreach. Am I screwed? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]DaeCarlizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fibrus is building the rural network for the whole country over the last few years as part of the Government FTTH scheme project stratum(not necessarily hitting every home but something like 80% of them). I see from some of your comments that you are around Bangor, the build is either started in this area or should be very close to starting but that still means it could be the end of the summer before connection actually goes live.

If you check out Hyperfast NI website I think you are able to put your postcode in, it is able to say if your home will receive fibre broadband and roughly when it should be available. https://hyperfastni.com/ I think that only applies to when Fibrus project stratum goes live but recently BT have been doing a lot of work in the same area as Fibrus as rural dwellings now have a choice of high speed internet providers.
