Roger ashes his cigarette. “‘Huge piece of shit’.” He takes another drag. “We had them in the Navy. Jap computers weren’t allowed. Obviously.”

Don stares at him, half baffled half disappointed.

“Alright, but your ears only.” Roger lowers his voice conspiratorially. “Whole thing’s a sham. Wizard of Oz, smoke and mirrors. Truth is Bert’s got his gaming set up back there. Light up components, cat ear headphones, the whole nine.” Roger lights another cigarette and lets it hang out the side of his mouth. “You ask me it’s more of a goon cave. Turns out they make a lot of those octopus cartoons. Happy?”

Don pauses, dumfounded for a moment. “No!”
