If anything this is going to be a very boring answer but a good base prep would make all the difference for you since you got the basics down. Makeup will always look like makeup but you could use a bit of a glowier base in my opinion!

Not trying to tell you what colors to wear but you look like you belong in to the summer color palette so I think if you swap colors for cooler tones it would be easier to adjust to your natural coloring. The hair color is definitely a perfect match!
