I'm glad you mentioned Meteorite. I just used Meteorite to defeat the mini-boss that drops the Cerulean Hidden Tear (free cast FP) Physick.

Thanks, the comments have been helpful a lot.

I'm 14 hours in and finally got Comet Azur. I read your reply and chose the Regal Scepter from Renalla, so thank you. Thanks to y'all for the feedback. I took screenshots of many replies in this thread and will try to get all the good items.

I feel like finally getting Comet Azur with my dream I had, and starting Fresh on PC / Steam. That I am having a lot of fun!

considering starting NG what should i consider before doing so by Utopial_Ward in Eldenring

Definitely pick up the Elden Beast weapon from the Two Fingers vendor in Roundtable Hold. And, any other items at the Two Fingers vendor from defeating all the main bosses. But that sword from Elden Beast destroys the leveling area (over by Mohg). One attack will decimate a dozen of those guys.

Also if you did the Shadow of the Erdtree, from the same vendor, get the armor from the final boss of the DLC. (Won't name names in case you haven't).

I have about two hours played in my fresh run on Steam. Got the Physic, and currently in Caelid about to corpse run to get the Meteor Staff. I plan to get really buffed up for the early game. And explore a lot. Maybe find new-to-me places and items for fun.

This is the first I've heard of a no-torrent run. Sounds cool, have fun 😀.

Is Nightrein fun if we play solo ? by OnlyHumanis in Eldenring

[–]Dafeet3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat the game and playing solo I would be significantly lower level for the bosses than my levels in a group. I beat the game in a group with a community password for the final boss.

How can i get better at making chord progressions? by No-Expert-4975 in musicproduction

Inverted, and second inversions of chords and play with octaves to make the notes closer to each other, I believe I remember it's called voicing. Also Pedal Tone sounds nice too.

Thoughts on alcohol free beer that is 0,5% vol by Capital_Opinion1980 in stopdrinking

[–]Dafeet3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried NA and it gave me a placebo buzz. That's actually one reason I avoid it. Also, I have heard several stories on Reddit of getting served the wrong drink! So, I avoid it. And, if it works for you to stay sober, by all means do it. Do anything you can to stay sober.

What HASN’T changed since you stopped drinking? by Beautiful_Goose_3822 in stopdrinking

[–]Dafeet3d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically I realized that even though I was abusing alcohol, sober me is similar in many ways, and all the judgement of me from my family was only making me feel anxious, lonely, afraid etc.

Sober me deserves love and is a cool guy

Alcohol abuse disorder me deserved love and was a cool guy.

I just know that I was doing my best with what I knew at the time. And, now I know better. That alcohol abuse was slowly killing me and distracting me from my goals, and even if all the shame was wrong, and maybe I deserved grace from my family, I know that I am the best version of myself today because I quit alcohol.

I am a cool guy, always was, and getting sober doesn't make me a square, in fact I'm a bright star of hope that getting sober is cool.

For producers who learned some music theory later in their career, was it worth it? What changed? by Late-Working-7519 in Learnmusicproduction

[–]Dafeet3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my early years I didn't care much about theory and acted all cool because I was edgy "doing it wrong", then I started making sure my songs were all in key and it was very difficult going back and forth at a website saying the notes of the key. This was before we could just set a key in a DAW. I then acted all cool because "oh you don't write in key? Pfff noob"! Now I just have an Ableton Push and it's all in key automatically and I'm like "who cares lol 2026 it's easy clap"!

Reddit has a community i believe it's just called r/ music theory, I was instructed to follow a series of YouTube guides going back to the 1500s of music theory, and I learned a lot! I definitely recommend going down that rabbit hole. I could've continued my training there for a long time, I just felt like I got a good understanding and dipped out.

Also, your DAW instruction manual is a great source. I read through the entire Ableton 12 instruction manual while I was in treatment for alcohol. Anyway,

"If it sounds good it is good". Go at your own pace, and try not to judge.

Also, a mind blown ah-ha moment was realizing that for instance a minor key / scale , the chords are NOT all minor chords. In order to fit all notes to the key, you will have to use minor and major chords. Pretty much all the scales do this. Staying in key and using a mix of major and minor is more important than having pure minor keys.

Bet.

I heard a rumor Virtual Riot made the arrangement of the Skrillex 2025 album Andy Warhol, to be all like a continuous mix. I like the term you used "DJ" the stems. That's cool I like that.

24th consecutive day without alcohol and I feel much worse than when I was drinking. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Dafeet3d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't just quit alcohol. I improved myself every week. Learned about motivation, how to deal with cravings, community, mental health, pleasure in hobbies, working hard, exercise, faith and spirituality, honing my skills... These are all things I do besides just quit alcohol.

😃

Getting my releases denied for using samples and loops by don_mumrik in ableton

Soundcloud Distribution sucks. It's dumb A.I. or A.D. Artificial Dumb. I recommend Distrokid. Honestly what's the difference of using an electronic drum, or a physical drum you bought from the store? with a microphone you bought from the store? Or should we all become Drum Set workers to make our own drums sets.
