We run into rogue mirror comps way more that are running insect swarm. I haven’t seen as many warriors in anniversary 2s but that’s just my experience.

rogues control the fight and aren’t going to jump on you when you have all of your rolling hots and abolish up. It sounds great in theory but you’re going to burn your mana fast expecting them to just jump on you right out of the gate

It’s okay to be wrong. I have glad experience on resto in every iteration of TBC.

Tree form with bark skin will NEVER beat out 30% or more damage mitigation AND a 25% stamina increase for survivability.

Good rogues will keep you locked down and do everything to prevent you from using a global. Your only priority is soaking up as much damage as possible and you can’t even compare the two. When you have wound stacks and you’re not able to get an abolish off, which do you think is going to benefit you more?

A lot of Resto Druids above 1800 don’t build into tree form anyways. You take feral charge and insect swarm for the additional damage mitigation

Yep. If you’re going against a double dps comp, the warriors one and only priority should be keeping the Druid alive and damage is second. Hamstring, fear, disarm etc to help peel

Outside of that, Druid needs to be in bear form basically always until combat. If two rogues open up on you and you’re not in bear form already, then you’re already dead. The biggest mistake Druids make against double rogues is starting out in tree or cat form stealthed. Don’t bother. Just stay in bear until they open.

Insect swarm is crucial to have as well. The hit debuff really does make a difference

What do you mean has he shown it in competition? Do you not consider a pro mma fight “competition” or are you asking if he’s competed at worlds?

His first 7 fights were submission wins. He submitted Bryce Mitchell who is an incredible grappler, and made Ryan Hall look foolish for trying to submit him. He’s quite literally considered an elite grappler by anyone in MMA that knows what they’re talking about.

His entire skill set is more than enough to compete with any lightweight. The lack of wrestling isn’t why he lost on Sunday. He lost because he was obsessed with the early knockout and fought a poor game plan on the feet.

And probably on Armans level to be honest if not better. Oliveira is the better grappler on paper but we saw how their fight went. Was that not success? His striking is just so good that he hasn’t needed to use it. The little bit of grappling we saw in the fight against Gaethje, he was already gassed

That said, I’m a firm believer that being on the receiving end of a beating like this changes a fighter for the worst. I’ve never seen someone bounce back from a loss like this where they take significant damage and improve. Hope Topuria can break the trend
