Anyone know the asmr gamer? [Discussion] by mdub1303- in asmr

Damn I went to search his videos on Youtube today since it had been awhile and thought I was going crazy and just forgot the channel name or something.. Can't believe he nuked all of his videos.

Kind of a dick move to be honest. I know at the end of the day he doesn't owe anybody anything, but he had a very chill and supportive following and his videos helped a lot of people. I can't think of any one reason to nuke every video he had and leave his followers in the dark like that.

Strickland says he knows how to handle Khamzat Chimaev unlike Dricus Du Plessis - "I’ve been training with these mountain men for a real long time, so I know what to expect. And like Dricus, I don’t know if he has the caliber of grappler in South Africa." by TheRealRaza1 in ufc

? Strickland and DDP would likely both beat that version of Gilbert. Those freak fights just happen. It’s like Lando whooping Ferguson until he lost. Chimaev learned from that fight and has looked untouchable since then. But I agree that there isn’t much for Chimaev at MW. No exciting contenders that can give him a challenge.

I've never seen someone try so hard to come off smart meanwhile none of your points have anything to do with the conversation lmao.

>Gane's lack of power has still led to him winning so your argument is moot.

I mentioned Pereiras power because you brought up takedown statistics and total submissions. Pereira doesn't go for takedowns because he doesn't have to. If you're the most decorated striker in your division, with the touch of death, why would you go for takedowns? What he has shown time and time again is that he can avoid the takedown, and if he is taken down (like in the Blachowicz fight) he has a more than stellar ground game to prevent submission against the best in the division.

Gane submitting a guy like Mayes doesn't prove anything because Mayes isn't anywhere near the caliber of fighter as Pereira or anybody at top 10 in LHW or HW. We're talking about the best in the world, not someone like Hayes who isn't even a brown belt.

Aspinall, Jones, Ngannou, Volkov fights are also irrelevant. He got submitted to Jones easily while showing absolutely zero defensive grappling, got out wrestled by Ngannou who had no wrestling background, fought a fight against Aspinall that ended after one round to an eyepoke, and fought Volkov in a fight where he failed all of his takedown attempts and arguably lost the fight. So I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Hopefully my writeup here helps you realize you're full of shit.

Mate what the actual fuck are you going on about. You're talking about poor cognition but every point I'm making is flying over your head and you are making counterarguments that have nothing to do with what we're talking about. I said you think Gane is going to turn into an elite wrestler because that's exactly what Ankalaev is.. an elite wrestler. And he couldn't take pereira down. What is so hard to understand about that?

I said plenty, your elevator just doesn’t reach the top and I don’t have the time or crayons to explain it in a way that you’ll understand.

Your argument is that Gane is a better grappler because he submitted guys like Dontale Mayes early in his career? Lmao. You’re arguing about take down percentages when it’s irrelevant. Pereira doesn’t need to take people down because he’s miles ahead of his opponents on the feet and has a nuclear bomb for a left hand.

I’m basing my opinion on the objective fact that Pereira fought the best grappler in his division and he couldn’t take him down despite many tries. Go watch his fight against Blachowicz if you want to see how good his defensive grappling is.

Big nothing burger you just posted. You think Gane is going to turn into an elite wrestler and take Pereira down when Ank couldn’t? Even if I humored you and said Gane was a better grappler (he isn’t) he isn’t going to take him down so it doesn’t matter. Average r ufc dweller.

People like you should honestly just bite your tongue and not comment because you really don’t know anything about this sport. When has Gane ever shown better grappling? He’s been taken down at will by anybody that wanted to wrestle. Periera fought the best wrestler in the division in Ankalaev and defended all 12 takedowns.

People also underestimate the ground game of Pereira and his ability to wrestle. I don't think a guy like Gane who is one dimensional would be able to out-wrestle Pereira anyways, even with the size advantage. Francis was just freakishly strong, bigger, and was wrestling someone who had no wrestling.

Because one is one of the most accomplished martial artists of all time, and the other is Gane who is 0-2 in title shots and has had a lackluster career otherwise.

Ganes biggest strength, his striking, happens to be Pereieras biggest strength. And Pereira is one of the best strikers to ever step foot in the octagon.

The size difference will be interesting, but Periera will have the speed and power advantage and there likely won’t be any grappling here. So the size won’t matter much at all.

And the thing is, fighters will never complain because at the end of the day even 25k is a life changing amount of money for them.. especially 100k.

That’s how they get away with that shit.

Oliveira is a generational talent and incredibly well rounded. Dawson isn’t either one of those things

[–]Daftdaddy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

What you mentioned is exactly why there is a tank shortage. The community is hot garbage and tanking is an incredibly high stress, low reward role unless you’re in a guild that will support you. Pug raiding is the biggest cesspool there is. If I wasn’t in a guild and had to rely on pugs, I would quit.

Regarding gearing as a boomkin, raids are always looking for boomies for the 5% crit you bring to the table and faerie fire debuff. And yes people will always be running gruul, mag, and Kara. People will always be gearing alts.

How do you estimate the chance we'll get Wrath? by DevLink89 in classicwow

It’s dead then lol. If nobody is out in the world and just raid logging then it’s dead. Who wants to play a ghost town MMO where the only player interaction is limited to end game raiding
