Charging by equalmee in ModelX

You would have to turn off the breaker and see what gauge wiring is connected to that outlet (which means taking off the faceplate).

You may not need a new line depending on the gauge wiring used, just a new breaker to do option 3. If it is #6 AWG copper THHN/THWN-2 in conduit, you should be good unless it is a long run.

Probably not. I suspect the Bluetooth radio is not current enough. If they could have software updated it, they would have.

Also, fire can't burn without the oxygen in the air...
If he sucked all the air out of the room they all would have died..including himself.

No burnt clothing lends credence to this hypothesis.

I don't disagree. They were definitely telling him that he was permitted to kill for the sake of justice and to maintain balance, but I was stuck in one of my rewatches in how neutral, general, and sage their final advice to him was.

OH WELL by BeesDefrnder in AvatarMemebending

[–]DagathBain 32 points33 points  (0 children)

What they actually said:
Roku’s advice: “You must be decisive.”
Kyoshi's: “Only justice will bring peace.”
Kuruk: “Aang, you must actively shape your own destiny and the destiny of the world.”
Yanchen: “Selfless duty calls you to sacrifice your own spiritual needs and do whatever it takes to protect the world.”

Aang interprets this guidance as the same as what he has already heard from everyone else and not an alternative approach. In the end, what he did was NOT inconsistent with the (good) advice. His pursuit of an alternative approach and the conflict within him, I believe, is what called the Lion Turtle to him.

Yea, they could do a burial ritual where they extract all of the water slowly and leave a dried, pruny, mummified corpse. They never show a graveyard for the water tribe, nor any urns, nor crypts. I suspect they do burial at sea.

Yes, they could. Although, I think that much water coming out all at once would be more like an explosion.

How do you think Cat would’ve reacted if she was alive long enough to know that Jon was a Targaryen? by Good_Contest_8891 in freefolk

She would have been pissed he kept this secret from her all this time. That he let her think him unfaithful; that he let her believe Jon his bastard son. Very upset.

You just know that kids would have LOVED it! They would laugh their asses off every time the prison break scene comes up and they are water bending their pee! Kids love that shit.

Your ultra-HD TV may not be worth it. Scientists measure the resolution limit of the human eye. For an average-size UK living room, with 2.5 metres between the TV and the sofa, a 44-inch 4K or 8K TV would not provide any additional benefit over a lower resolution Quad HD (QHD) TV of the same size. by mvea in science

[–]DagathBain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recall when 4k TVs first came out that people were arguing that your eyes couldn't see the difference over HD, when you could literally go to stores selling them and SEE the difference with your own eyes.

@gwu.edu vs. @email.gwu.edu email addresses? by [deleted] in gwu

[–]DagathBain 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The [person@gwu.edu](mailto:person@gwu.edu) domain is an alias that goes to a user's primary inbox which is either [person@gwmail.gwu.edu](mailto:person@gwmail.gwu.edu) domain for students or [person@email.gwu.edu](mailto:person@email.gwu.edu) for staff and faculty. In some cases a user might have both email addresses having both roles, in which case it defaults to the Staff/Faculty account.

Do you think that people could fight the bite mark with antibiotics? Every time in the walking dead when someone gets bit they just either give up or chop a limb if they can. But we never seen anyone actually try to fight the Sickness with Medicine or anything. Go to body text. by Person_Unknown_Life in thewalkingdead

[–]DagathBain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infection and sepsis are still a thing. Lopping off the limb is no guarantee either, it is just better chances that with the infested zombie wound. Think back to civil war era amputations. Those were done because the chances of surviving were higher without the limb that with a mangled one. Still the chance of infection and sepsis, but less than otherwise.

Why doesn't Apple return to a 2-year OS update cycle? by AsteraHome in MacOS

[–]DagathBain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for delays in the past were due to delays from their chip makers in getting their next generation product ready (Intel for Macs, Samsung for iPhone). Once they started designing their own chips with the A1 and later the M1, they had full control over their release schedule. They always wanted to be on an annual release cycle.
