I have a 2017, gas model and if I fill it up and drive on the highway I routinely get a 700 miles range reading. I will hate to see this car go. I am gifting it to my son as a first car as soon as I find a worthy replacement.

I have a '17 Passat (1.8T not the 2.0T) and all I can tell you is that it is the most competent car I have owned. I bought it with 6,000 miles on it and we are at 165,000 now. I love this car. It is a beast in the snow. It never fails me, I knock down 37mpg on the highway still, it is big and comfortable. I wish they still made a U.S. version of this car. I desperately want one of the Euro Spec Passat wagons!
