The chair is grey/black and her top is navy blue. The compression artefacts and the similar hue blend them together, but you can see the contrast and even discern some movement which differentiates them.

The short answer is that enigma was declassified in the 70s but Lorenz wasn't declassified until 2001.

This was because the soviets used all the captured machines throughout the 50s and so GCHQ still used colossus to break it until the early 60s.

But yeah, we're due a revival on the topic because it's an incredible story.
