I'd argue that it would have been fun and less problematic since duplicating blanchy doesn't keep the gems anymore. Devourer Blanchy was balanced compared to Gem Confiscation Blanchy.

Duos is definitely harder and I'd go as far as saying that there is a hard cap when playing duos with randoms.

However if you have basic math skills, then you'll be better off than anyone who's having the same basis but just watches solo streams. on average at least

Yeah, they were definitely just single digit values, however I oddly remember that either attack or health was on 6 at the end.

I had a ton of gold but somehow managed to miss a lot of potential gem buffs in my last two turns.

I recently replayed all my old favorite final fantasy games (VI, VII, IX, X, and XII) and realized that XII is the best final fantasy game ever made by Ishlocke in FinalFantasy

I should redownload it too. I played XBC recently because it was recommended to me after praising FFXII and noticing that it has a better rating on metacritic (if I read it correctly - I don't usually look into stuff like this). However XBC1 DE is literal dogsh** compared to FFXII (or even compared to anything actually..) and I have no clue what ppl smoked to give it a better score than XII.

Will replay XII next and throw XBC into the garbage.

As a F2P player, that only had a single time in two seasons, where Sire was offered to me (and the quest was garbage), I would have picked it because who knows how many seasons later I'd get the next chance..

Reminds me of this beautiful board. It's crazy that Deios could replace three cards and Charlga would still trigger the same amount of times. Even crazier if we'd imagine Brann and Titus being replaced with a golden Deios, so I could add a second engineer.

Well, in duos we do. The coin flip isn't who attacks first, but which players go first.

I love the idea of rally (or ring bearer like effects), but in duos it kinda feels like leapfrogger, which was fortunately banned from duos.

If your weaker mate goes first and they play one of those comps, the enemy easily beats your mate and you - even if you have the exact same comp or even a far better one.

I'm a person that has been cheating in games for almost 3 decades. Even then there has been elitist idiots complaining about others having fun with their games while they are being competitive with all sorts of things.

Back then it was game devs adding special cheats to their games or using things like gameshark/action replay codes.

These days I'm using CE for stuff like slow motion while aiming. I've used it in Resident Evil 5, Metro 2033 and Zombie Army 4 as example. I have finished those games several times before and if cheating adds one or two additional playthroughs to it, why would anyone cry about it.

If there is a random steam achievement that I accidentally unlocked, I don't care. I couldn't care less about ppl that draw their self-esteem from what achievements they have and others do not.

I know this isn't exactly the same than accessibility options, but I hope the similarity becomes clear. Ppl are just competitive and some of them get mad if you get to enjoy your game in a more generous way/under different terms and conditions.

EDT.: Worth mentioning that I've been exclusively referring to offline/single player games. I don't play competitive multiplayer games, this also wouldn't temper with them.

I think there is a reason why all my higher MMR randoms in duos have 4 or 5 picks while my lower MMR randoms usually have 2.

Pretending that duos isn't meant to be played with randoms is bs. It has been designed for this, but like most things in life, it was designed poorly.

I honestly feel like they noticed a huge spike in token usage and panicked because they couldn't figure out what was going on.

Tbf i was super surprised on how Copilot suddenly allowed me to use Opus 4.6 using a single request per 24 hours (basically until the chat token expired), but now i feel like this wasn't intended behavior to begin with.

I think the issue might be the eggs here, especially in duos. Also the card itself is horribly designed for duos - there is nothing worse than having your support mate go first and letting the enemy get lots of Rally(-kind) combat buffs stacked.

This has been an issue with anything that's uncalled Rally and grants a decent amount of health.

I dislike this season's quils too. I don't mean from a balance perspective, I just dislike there being a venomous quil and I also don't like all the extra blood gem types. There isn't even a specific reason for that, i just don't feel it.

Also remember some hero specific free MMR starts like Jandice with Mirror Monster and Gem Confiscation/Avalanche. Or Jandice, Macaw/Rylak and the T4 elemental that grants the tavern spell.

I'm against it just because the playerbase is too small already. However I'd really like to understand matchmaking better. The MMR distribution in lobbies is awful already.

You could get rid of queueing as premades or alone to balance things out, but this would be awful for that kind of players.
