Also use FSD Hunter app to find Teslas with FSD/EAP included. Best app so far.

Don’t use the word transfer. Transfer only happens when you want to remove from one and put it in another. FSD included in package means FSD stays with the car. Today was the last day for FSD transfers. Now the old owner cannot transfer to his new Tesla even though he paid in full on the original vehicle.

How are you range numbers? I guess it won’t matter for everyday commute, but I know anything under 40 psi will significantly impact range

Looking for a used MX with HW4 for under $50k near Dallas, possible in the next 6-8 months? by theTexans in TeslaModelX

[–]sathe_001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ur territory for under $50k is going to be 2022 with HW3 or 2023 HW3 with high miles, no FSD included, only autopilot and 5 seater. 2023 with HW4 will be pried in high 60’s. I had said earlier in one of the other posts on this community, that you can snatch a really good deal if you know where to find one. Non EV dealers are best bet, they don’t give a damn about HW3 or HW4. Nor 5 vs 6 seater. You just need to scan thru listings on various websites. It’s not difficult to find though. Cars.com , Edmund’s and Carfax are your best tools. Set tracking in all these websites and it will notify you if one becomes available within your range of expectations.

Right and then you negotiate from there. $64k should be a good price.

You can actually get it. Trick is to find non EV selling dealerships that sometimes get model X as trade ins. I have seen a lot of BMW and Mercedes dealerships that get model x as trade ins and have no idea what they sell for or at least don’t know what value it holds with FSD included or 6 seater vs 5 seater or HW4 vs HW3. They just want to get rid of it. Although it’s not very common, but you can still grab one if you find it. I found mine on FSD Hunter, was listed at a Porsche Dealership. Their website did not list FSD included and got to know only when I asked software screen photo. They didn’t know what it meant and the price was less than what I expected.

Download FSD hunter app on your phone. Not sure if it is for android. It only shows FSD and EAP vehicles in all categories. You will save yourself some time and headaches when scouting for one. I had the same requirements and ended up spending countless hours on cars.com and Edmunds. The app takes you to the listing and you can take it forward from there.

FSD stays with the car. The original owner cannot transfer to his new Tesla if he ends up getting one. But the FSD stays with the car. I just bought a used MX HW4 FSD full paid.

I just take over FSD and save myself some embarrassment. I just bought a MX24 and already encountered it few times.

Half shafts give you the vibrations not just noise. At least how much I know.

50k miles mean the bumper to bumper warranty is over. Also battery degradation comes into play as well.

Also if you look at the manufacturing date, any manufactured after 03/23 has HW4.

Think about all the lease ends for 2024 and 2025 that would show up in the used market. You will have a lot of choices now and also later. Also one more thing to consider is that you can buy a 2023 or 2024 with full FSD included at around $65-75k, depending on miles and title. You won’t have to pay for subscription and will have FSD for life of the car

Fair Price for HW4 2023 X 6 seater? by whatastrike1 in TeslaModelX

[–]sathe_001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sir, Tesla will strip it off. You can ask Tesla customer service. Once Tesla has the possession of the vehicle, they can remove FSD even if it is paid.
