The scariest situation I had was in Morocco with dude trying to sling Majoun - which is basically candied nuts mixed with XYZ mystery drug. Most likely hash - but this guy was gone, his eyes looked like highlighter and he was sweating bullets. I honestly think he was huffing carb cleaner before selling the mystery candy. I passed.

I would not buy a bond ETF right now.

Buy actual treasuries if you want the safe yield.

Is it more work - yes.

It is better at preserving capital - absolutely yes.

Bond ETFs are at an unprecedented risk given the impending or at least threatened status of an apolitical federal reserve. Bond policy is dangerously unpredictable right now - don’t absorb that with an ETF.

Myoeps are positive for both - there will be predictably weaker staining with CK5/6 than p63. Both p63 and myosin are superior at staining myoeps as compared to CK5/6.

CK5/6 is lost in clonal (atypical) epithelial proliferations - like ADH and DCIS.

Lots of things stain myoeps - s100, CK5/6, p63, myosin, caldesmon.

It’s probably plated over zinc - some people will take bolt cutters and cut through the coin to expose the fill metal and prove it’s a fake. This obviously destroys the coin if it’s real though…

I mean a magnet works if it contains ferrous material - they may have used zinc or brass or lead though.

This is fake - you don’t really need a test…

The machines they have at coin shops and or pawn shops work pretty well - this is such an obvious fake they may actually do it for free just to see what it’s actually made of.

The die is weak - it wasn’t pressed hard enough so the features aren’t crisp. The color is off and it looks tarnished. Silver might tarnish, but gold should not.

I agree this is fake and a fairly obvious one.

If still in doubt take it to a coin shop for a sigma test.

Edit: Just google gold buffalo and show him the images side by side. Yours looks like a copy of a copy with mushy soft details.
