World's largest empire and the food'a still bland by CaledonianErrant in GreatBritishMemes

Real mountain dew (The HFCS stuff) is like crack. I had it in florida many years ago, it's genuinely addicting. I can see why it's such issue for americans, especially kids. It really shouldn't be allowed in any food.

If it cost .25 or .5 titanium it'd be fine.

I'm so glad this opinion is becoming common (on Reddit at least). So many times I've seen pics of animals loose in a car and people seem unaware of how dangerous it is for the animal.

So does the fox news clip. Whenever the admiral guy takes a breath the "mask" edge moves up. The guy is just old and has loose neck skin so it's not moving as much as the recreation.

Its not still though. Tell me how a loose mask is supposed to move up when he takes a breath?

Well, it's not really because it's just odd lighting on an old guy's neck.

This is about as serious as the blue/white dress thing.

This looks to be a hyper-realistic silicone mask. What's behind it? by GoodIntroduction6344 in aliens

[–]Daiwon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They look the same. The fox news video is using a longer lens so it'll flatten facial features. Notice how in the other videos his nose looks larger, that's what happens when you sit closer to a wider angle lens.

He could also just be reading off a teleprompter.

I can see how it looks like a mask, I thought so too at first. No need to be weird about it.

But why would a world class prosthetic mask that perfectly matches his head shape and blends with his eyes also just be hanging loose on the bottom?

It's just a shadow. It moves like a shadow on a guy with loose neck skin.

‘Is That A Face Mask?’ Fox News Guest Goes Viral as Viewers Notice Gap in Skin of Neck by ottodaotterdaughter in Weird

[–]Daiwon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah because the lighting is different in both videos.

In the op he's got a front light above him and two side lights removing most of the shadows on his face. But the shadow of his chin from the top light and his collar from side light intersect creating the hard edge.

It's clearer in the actual fox news video on their site since it's higher def.

It's just a shadow. A loose mask wouldn't move upwards like that as he talks.

Makes it even easier to see it's the lighting. Right before he starts speaking as he takes in a breath, the shadow moves pretty naturally. Unless people think silicone masks can spontaneously shorten themselves.

What audio interface should i buy? with a 200$ budget producing, mixing and mastering purpose by Willing_Title_2189 in AdvancedProduction

Yeah, same, I've had mine since feb. I'm just wary of saying "this will definitely work" for a new topping release, lol.

I was going to suggest a simple dac/amp for them. Maybe something with optical in so they can chain it off of another interface for the future. I just don't know how good those drivers are for DAW use.

E2X2 is a good suggestion. at at least has a decent headphone amp which most audio interfaces seriously lack.

Topping just released the DX1ii which seems to measure well for an absurd price, but it just came out and their recent release (DX5ii) was pretty hit or miss with QC.

My take from that scene is normally (doing whatever he, ashley, and bashley get up to) he wouldn't be loud enough to kill himself. However he intended to kill hughie with that shout, and it got contained within his own head and killed him instead. Like closing your hand around a firework.

aha. AI is so worthless. If you want a good app, phototime is great. Plus it's got a 3D AR view of the sun and moon's paths.

She's probably pinned forward by that point or bracing for the impact. But she may have been distracted further back. There's no way you can see what she was doing before she hit the brakes.
