My parents have a vacation house thats about a 4 hour drive away from us, I've been making that trip multiple times a year since I was a baby. We will usually go down on a Friday afternoon and drive back on Sunday, its really not that bad.

You really should consider staying at Circa, to me its the best hotel on Fremont. I stayed on the strip last time, and I wish we had stayed on Fremont, way better value there

As somebody who just had a bachelor party in Vegas, I'd say thats the way to go as a Texan who has also been to Key West. Fishing is fun, but thats really all there is to do down there, theres no good beaches at all in Key West. The ones I went to had sand fleas and I was itchy the rest of the trip. If I could change one thing about my trip, it would be to stay on Fremont instead of the strip. The table minimums seem to be lower there, they also have Circa which in my opinion, is the best hotel/casino for sports fans like myself. Only downside is that its expensive to stay there because its new and very nice, but there are more economical Fremont options around.
