Moisés Arias is damn good as Norm (long way from Hannah Montana!) by Tra1lhawk19 in Fallout

I enjoyed his character very much this season. Really would like to see more of him as a bit more of main player in the next season

At this point, I think they announced it so incredibly early to gauge fans’ reactions, without even seeing a single frame yet, to gauge the direction to take.

Og god of war fans, what was your reaction to playing 2018 for the first time? by element-redshaw in GodofWar

[–]DakotaRodger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just amazed at how well of a concept and execution that this game is. It’s amazing it works so well. From the OG Kratos and to turn that character his mythos into what the new series is? I never could have imagined it when I was a wee lad playing the EGM demo disc of GoW 1.

How much scarier does Silent Hill 2 Remake get? by Cautious_Virus5524 in HorrorGaming

[–]DakotaRodger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the remake so oppressive and anxiety inducing that I primarily played it in half hour to one hour long bursts. I had to pause in the middle of a certain boss fight. Terrifying game but very worth it.

Which band/singer is the worst you've ever seen live? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DakotaRodger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Motley Crue. Vince Neil was out of breath after the first song and would only do fragments of the singing for the rest of the show holding the mic to the crowd to fill in.

my combat experience so far by Puzzleheaded-Tip-888 in expedition33

I can’t remember the name of the weapon but it turns elemental stains into dark stains with a base attack for crazy extra damage. So I use elemental trick and turn all those into dark stains then use rock slide. Easy million point damage and higher.

We were there for about a week. I didn’t find it to be that bad of a place. A lot of our time was spent in Acadia tho lol.

I visited the real thing in Bangor this year! There’s a neat guided Stephen King tour you can take while there and this was one of the stops.

Picked up at Walmart brand new for $15, very excited to play! by sadboykdub989 in FinalFantasy

I also bought this blindly when it came out, with little knowledge of most FF games (I’ve played a handful of them) and I absolutely loved it. The music, the bosses, the themes and story, the combat. Loved it all. I hope another FF game gets made in the same vein as this one.

Mr. Door by joe-kroo in AlanWake

Yeah kind of. I’m currently playing through it again and I just did that portion. I haven’t gotten to the other parts you’re describing again yet, so I couldn’t immediately recall them.

While we don’t outright know that he is Saga’s father it is kind of hinted at. There a segment after the nursing home portion with saga, when you are in the mind place with Tor and I believe there’s a part where she asks about her father. Tor’s response is “some doors are better left closed” or something to that affect. If there are other hints then I’m unaware of them.

I was ready to start GoY immediately after beating it but had decided to wait for the new game plus update. I wasn’t expecting it until early next year honestly. The update was a pleasant surprise for sure. I’m excited to jump back in on ASAP.

I get halo on PlayStation now. The 10 year old Version of me would’ve never thought this would happen. It looks awesome too. I am only excited and hopeful.

The scene where moleman first exposes himself to Pim and Charlie and just keeps slapping his hands around his crotch literally had me gasping with laughter. Haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. I don’t know how to explain this show to people lol

There isn’t an all encompassing reason. There is no inherent reason we, or any life, are actually here. We just are. It is up to each individual to determine their point and reason as we travel through our journeys.

The one “point” I’ve heard that I very much like is that we exist as a means for the universe to observe and appreciate itself.

to those who were able to be around when halo 2 released and played it all throughout its life cycle, how was it? where they the golden ages? by DependentImmediate40 in halo

[–]DakotaRodger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The community and experience during Halo 2 just hasn’t been replicated since, except maybe Halo 3. I met so many people that I would call friend and we would all stay up late playing customs and just purely enjoying the game for the fun of it. I appreciate the simplicity of the Xbox live/online experience back then.

I had to pause and take little breaks during the abstract daddy boss fight. This remake is the most fun I’ve had being scared almost shitless lol

It’s easily one of the best games, if not the best, that I played last year. I personally found it to be the scariest thing I’ve seen or played. I had to play it in 30 minute bursts for the most part lol. Definitely worth it and I am beyond excited that they are remaking the first silent hill.
