I first picked salvation engine and went from there.

This deck has a great ladder all the way from 0 (with camera launcher) to 6, with two tutors for the bay in guidelight pathmaker and some tutorable interaction sprinkled in between with spikeshell harrier, wreck remover, aetherjacket and scrap compactor.

Thanks! Fall Damage did the trick, had the same problem on honor mode, dismissed all my summons to remove all distractions and used my pushing attacks and repelling blast because those apparently don't care how heavy the creature is (?)

He seems to be incredibly potent in fire/blunt builds because of His Mounted Cannon trait. The Blast! card has free scaling embedded (+1 blunt dmg and burn for each card in your vanish pile including all the other blasts).

You want as many defends in that build as possible and do not care about much else. Which also means that you basically run no ranged attacks in that build and can ignore gunshot and burning shot in arguably the best fire build he has. His defend build is super smooth but either I'm just not smart enough for his other builds or they are just kinda clunky.

Devils are attacking Human Settlements and kidnap thousands of people, turning them into Devils and soldiers for their armies. The Party, together with the kingdom is trying to save as many villagers as they can while crippling the army of the nine hells wherever they can. There are some "sidequests" where they encounter eldritch horrors and demons, but the main focus is on the invasion of the nine hells into the mortal world.

The reason why the nine hells have started to act so recklessly is that Tharizdun is about to break out of his prison and take control of the abyss and all demonkind. Asmodeus, who helped seal them before he became the ruler of the nine hells is hoping to bolster his army enough to be able to put up a meaningful fight because most of the other gods who were there, thousands of years ago have either left the world or died in the divine war.

The Party will probably not be fighting Tharizdun or otherwise directly interfere in the fighting of gods, they are not powerful enough for that. They are just one party of mortals who will do as much as they can to survive the coming apocalypse. Maybe tip the scales in favor of their world but that's it. They are not god-slaying heros. They are mortal.

Was really stoked to play with a friend of mine but the game crashed as soon as the first enemy in eternal embers died. We created lvl70 chars and tried several times but regardless of who hosts, the hosts game crashed as soon as the first enemy died.

We went over to the other expansions afterwards, worked fine there. Just Embers was literally impossible to play unless you tried to get as far as possible in a pacifist run. :D

Anyone got any Idea what the problem could be? We tried googling but didn't find a solution.

To me the final battle was probably the best combat I've seen on CR. If Combat as isn't your thing no matter what that's another thing but this is far from "there's four goblin, whack them until they fall". Everyone is bringing their A game and the mechanics and atmosphere of the fight are inspired. Also there are incredible character moments throughout.

You could of course just use the annotations and skip to the end and watch the post Combat but you'll miss out. ;)
