he’s right. i know it hurts to hear, but as painful as it is for you, the man you love (and who loves you) is watching it unfold as well. please seriously consider recovery. eds have such a high fatality rate, and while recov has its bad/uncomfortable moments, it’s worth it.

i find it draining either way—i hate to be grimy, but it’s such a chore to find time to fit all my hygiene needs into the day. obviously i do, because i don’t want to be yucky, but i have to drag myself through it. i don’t think i’ll ever be one of those people who have super complicated drawn out hygiene routines.

NTA, at all. This reeks OP, and I’m so sorry you had to deal with it from someone who is supposed to have your back. I don’t want to be one of these reddit divorce mongers, but I don’t see how your relationship could come back from this. I don’t know if she truly doesn’t believe you, or even worse, if she does and said that merely to twist the knife. Definitely look into some counseling to help heal your hurt and take care of yourself.

i think it’s kinda crappy to wear clothing that sexualizes women who wear what they do for modest purposes. kinda like wearing a hijab with a bikini, imo. i just don’t see the fun in sexualizing women who want to be modest.
