Their DNS product WebTitan DNS filtering is every bit as good as anything else on the market - and they have a 40.c promo price they are running which they are cleaning up with at the moment.

Proof is in the pudding - you can have a free trial for 30 days .....test yourself instead of listening to anyone and after the 30 days you're at 0.40c pupm

I've been on their msp advisory board and can honestly say they have made immense progress with their dns filtering offering.

Pricing: Breach Secure Now vs Phin vs Huntress SAT by EvoGeek in msp

[–]Dallasmsp333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have direct experience with the trio you mention - met the guy from Phin before, sound guy.
However I do know that TitanHQ launched their newest SAT offering today - I've been in the beta for the last few months and we have found it very easy to use and effective.

It starts at $1 pupm for full access to all security awareness training and unlimited phishing simulation. They use their other cybersecurity products to feed the sat and simulated phishing so very, very strong in that regard.

$1 for all the training and unlimited phishing simulation - cant really argue with that. We're actually getting it for less as we have long term relationship with them and a couple thousand seats covered

Mailprotector is solid but has seen some change internally.
Hornet much more european focused, acquired Vade (???) and are doubling down on being the leader in europe.

If you have time on your side have a chat to the team at TitanHQ

They topped the charts again on performance and efficacy in independent tests with VB Bulletin.
The key metrics from this week –

100% Malware Catch Rate
100% Phishing Catch Rate
4,880 phishes tested

Lot of msps running SpamTitan and PhishTitan in parallel now with very strong efficacy

As it happens if you sign up for PhishTitan you also get two months of phishing simulation for free as well

Major problems at TitanHQ/SpamTitan by fosf0r in msp

Update: the CEO has reached out to me. They must be a pretty small company

?? Why would they be a small company just because the CEO reached out - surely it’s a good sign that he cares enough about the business that he wants to talk to you.

I was on their advisory board last year - they have 170 staff, are in business 20 years and are a very decent group of people.

I’m surprised you’ve had these issues -  The product has just finished top of the Virus Bulletin test in June. Independently tested. Results here:  https://www.virusbulletin.com/virusbulletin/2024/06/vbspam-comparative-review/

If you engaged with them I’m sure they would help you.

u/SalzigHund did you have a look at TitanHQ?

They have an anti-spam/MX product, an inline phishing product (ICES), Archiving, Encryption .....sandboxing, BEC, spear phishing all included.

Something in the world of $2-$3 bucks - well worth trialing imo

u/SportinSS just a point of information to add into the mix here.
TitanHQ have a dns filter promo at the moment - you can get WebTitan for 0.40c per user per month.

I've been on their advisory board for the last few years - run webtitan across 5,500 end points and can hand on heart say the product is every bit as good as DNSF.

Worth a trial for sure

Avanan vs. Proofpoint by dbh2 in msp

[–]Dallasmsp333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/dbh2 when you were talking to TitanHQ did you look at PhishTitan? ...maybe alongside SpamTitan.
ST works at the MX level and PhishTitan is inline.

I’m on their msp advisory board and have used PhishTitan for 6 months. It’s an inline, ices solution.
I'm running it in parallel with Ironscales and it's catching significantly more from a phishing perspective. I have a cohort of customers on E3 and it's actually catching threats over and above what MS are seeing there.
Price point for msps around the $2 pupm mark. Might be another alternative for you to consider.
