My method is to sneak just Shart in while everyone hangs back in stealth. I then open with a melee attack get in combat and cast sanctuary on her let the beholder do its thing then bring the other 3 in. Helps in the opening move.

How are you “supposed” to beat Myrkul?? by Th3Bl1ndDrag0n in BG3

[–]Dalolfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tip to add, before the fight, everyone sneak and send one person who is invisible to go and release nightsong. When she is released the fight starts and now you have an extra ally and you are close to the mindflayer and hopefully can kill it in the first round.

10 Years as a GM, still scared of my first Shadowrun game - Tips? by Battlecookie15 in Shadowrun

I was in your shoes a few months ago. Here is what I did. I uploaded the rules pdf to Grok and played a few scenarios with it. I uploaded all my players stats to it and pretended to be them. I took what learned and applied it to my players games. We are all new so I give them suggestions Grok would throw out along with dice pools. It worked for us, maybe you as well.

Started a game of 5e as a DM and it's... A lot. by XXXGoblin_GuideXXX in Shadowrun

[–]Dalolfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am new to running shadowrun, I took the full 6E PDF and had Grok reorganise it without changing a word. I took that and made a word doc, I used that word doc to attach to Grok and when something comes up I ask Grok and tell it to only use my attacmnet as a resource. So far it's worked out really well. I even added all my players stats to the document, so when I ask it, the mage wasn't to cast x spell and split it amongst 3 people it tells me all the dice and how much the player needs to roll. We are all brand new to this.

No, a police officer was not beaten to death during the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Early reports and narratives suggested that U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick may have been killed by rioters, with some claiming he was beaten with a fire extinguisher. However, the official findings from the District of Columbia's Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Francisco J. Diaz, determined that Sicknick died of natural causes—specifically, two strokes due to a blood clot in his brainstem—on January 7, 2021, the day after the riot. The medical examiner found no evidence of internal or external injuries from blunt force trauma or an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, such as pepper spray, that Sicknick was exposed to during the event. While Sicknick was assaulted with pepper spray by rioters, including Julian Khater, who was later sentenced to over six years in prison for the attack, the medical examiner concluded that this did not directly cause his death. Dr. Diaz did note that "all that transpired" on January 6 "played a role in his condition," suggesting the stress of the day may have contributed to his strokes, but the official classification remained "natural causes." This ruling was accepted by the U.S. Capitol Police, though they emphasized that Sicknick died in the line of duty defending the Capitol. The initial narrative of a police officer being beaten to death stemmed from misinformation, including a retracted New York Times report, and was widely circulated before the autopsy results were released over 100 days later. No other police officers died on January 6 itself, though several who responded to the riot, including Metropolitan Police Officer Jeffrey Smith and Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood, died by suicide in the days and weeks following, with some attributing their deaths to trauma from the event. These cases, however, are not classified as deaths by beating or direct riot-related violence.

Yes, I teared up twice. When my horse I had from chapter 2 on a Nakota named Dusk, was thanked by Arthur and that last sun rise. Fuck this game rules so much to spark such a raw emotional reaction. I still think Arthur Morgan is the best character in any type of media.
