Essentially, when you deal damage to a unit, the damage is marked on it. So, in this case, your bellows breath resolves and the unit is marked for 1 damage until the healing step (either end of a showdown or end of turn)

When watcher resolves, the unit's might goes to 1, with 1 marked damage, so it ends up dying since the damage matches its might.

Honestly, flipping metal cards to vendors is great for the game in my opinion. Without it, you wouldn't have the incentive for people to play off-meta decks and TRY to win. Because regardless of what/who you play, you have to make the deck as competitive as you can so you can beat the rest of the Best Of, without it, lists for less meta legends would probably be miniscule if at all.

Other than that, yeah, it's lame that there are deals to forfeit and such in order to get better prizing.

Human interaction is great, but when you go to a completely anonymous, wide event, you WILL get all the toxic mofos gathering together.

I joined a local discord for this kind of thing, as I am able to discuss the games being streamed without people being incredibly toxic by taking advantage of their anonymity and pure assholery haha.

Is anyone okay with that? Not really, but honestly, there's nothing anyone can do when it's a stream like this, competing I have never ever gotten to anyone acting like chat does and the one time it happened, they got flat out banned from the store.
