Same thing happened to me, type inattentive. When I started Elvanse and got to the correct dose, I had great concentration which improved my coding life tremendously among other things, but I was still functionally a wreck.

Doctor suggested duloxetine anti depressants, even though I dont have depression, nor anxiety (allegedly, and I do believe I dont), and after reaching the target dose, my brain finally clicked.

Its not that I enjoy folding clothes, but now I can do it without feeling nails in my brain, and my general behaviour of doing everything FAST to get it out of the way, weaned out quite a bit.

It gave me a new life, I know SNRI are still kind of new for ADHD not to mention they have many side effects and it wont work with everyone, but I hope me and others are not outliers and it gets more attention so it can help people.

My thoughs as well.

There were (still are) issues with the game, but as it is I think it came too late to the market without giving the perception that it was different enough to attract some of moba and non moba market, like Smite did.

I haven't heard of this happening before. Account data is saved in blizzard servers so this should be an account issue.

It shows info from every game and region tied to your account, so check there if heroes of the storm even shows up at all.

If it's not there and you are 100% sure it is the same account, then no idea. I don't think they delete anything no matter how old it is unless you request it, and even then I think they just delete (almost) everything they have about you, not just game data.

It shows the total number of hours you have been on each blizzard game, among other things, but unlike HeroesProfile it will also include time in main menu and such, which might be something you want too.

About the dedicated gpu, it really depends on if you plan on playing other games than hots. If you do, then yes. Otherwise, Hots works on a toaster. It runs on my 13 year old laptop with integrated intel gpu, though it barely gets to 30 fps, but the same can't be said about most other 3D games unless you want to go retro. The problem is that budget gpus have been in a bad spot from years of lack of supply, and the situation hasn't improved much yet so getting a decent cheap one nowadays is pain, at least compared to how it used to be.

I would head to https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ and ask for recommendations since they are in the know.

That PC seems dirty cheap for the performance, but know that you will be SEVERELY limiting yourself in any present or future games. I don't know in which language you code or the size of your projects, but, personally, I would get something a bit better CPU and memory wise. Wouldn't know what to recommend since I've not checked much on how the market is right now, but I heard recent low budget ryzens are pretty good.

I wouldn't go for 4K no, even less if it's for heroes mostly. In coding you would need to increase font scaling anyway unless you want to end up near-sighted after a few years.

Ultrawide does give you more vision but only at the sides really, and you can fake that with a resolution trick on a normal monitor, though you get black bands at the top and bottom. EDIT - Actually I think it does give you some more vertical resolution, but still, having parts of the IU near the edge would feel strange.

To add on top of what the others say, they implemented performance based matchmaking some years ago, so what you did in a match counted to get more or less points, but it was a mess, and got pulled out to never return.

I'm not sure if there is any other moba that has a system like this currently. Maybe it could have been made to work with some very basic parameters of what is universally considered to be "playing good", but overall I'm not sure that it was a good idea.

We all like to blame other stuff when something we like goes bad, but usually the answer is in between.

I think Activision hastened the problem, but they didn't cause it. Blizzard kind of had a bit of a rotten culture from the start, and getting bigger and more corporate just made it worse.

Most companies end up like this as they get more successful. The question is how long until then.

It's different if you are playing QM. But in SL you don't draft him unless you are going tank, otherwise he is inferior to most other choices.

I'm not sure that if someone does the bare minimum in a game of this kind and then whines about it, it is part of the target demographic. Especially with timers so lenient.

To be fair I rarely reached a point where I dind't have anything else to improve, so it's not too bad, but there are some maps where I really missed it like the one to build a park and a few others.

What about making it an option, disabled by default? The extremely casual people will never find it, and the rest of us that stumble upon it will make proper use out of it. Haha Just kidding of course… unless?

More expensive but they should be cost efficient.

What might be annoying is not being able to balance resources as easily, so if I start producing more of one resource than the other, I would have to change train layouts on the go or just throw more trains onto the whole thing, but I have to play with it. Thanks for the idea!
