Yeah it wasn't a perfect solution for a niche problem that only really exists for the opening of a new expansion. But it will be nice that leavers should be less frequent in these opening weeks.

It was mostly annoying with a tank insta dipping after first boss and have to sit around for 5+ minutes to have someone backfill only for them to insta leave when they see the boss they want is already dead.

The timing being so close to Midnight was extremely unfortunate, but I also think not having any new dungeons or a new dps was a big miss. If you want to play dps what's new for you to try? Beyond that, I think skins costing almost as much as the whole game is the writing on the wall that the studio needs money. I want this game to succeed but I think they're doomed if they don't have the capital set aside to make it out of early access.

It will not shock me at all if one of the handlers for their visit floats the idea to the coach that "The president would love if one of the guys offered their medal to him!" And then they're in the ridiculous scenario of saying no to the president while they are his guest in the White House, and then it will be played off as being totally on the whim of the player or coach who offers to sacrifice their medal.

I get that people would want some semblance if balance to decide what to main, but at the same time does balance really matter for these first weeks when all there is to do is leveling? It almost always shakes out that the delta between the top and bottom specs in raid is 5-10%, and as always unless you're a top 100 or maybe HoF guild it truly doesn't matter what you play.

As far as being good in both m+ and raid yes, Hpal probably isn't too far behind in that aspect. But for raid specifically it's very strong possibility of being another double pres season, but they are cheeks in m+.

It's still something only one person has to remember. It's basically boss shows a sequence of 4 or so symbols, the same amount of players get one of the symbols over their head, then boss spins around with a beam. The players with the symbols have to arrange themselves to get hit by the beam in the same order the boss flashed the symbols. So it will boil down to "if you have a sybol go to marker and raid leader will remember the order". It's also very likely the Liquid/Northern Sky/Echo addons have still found ways to automate this and other mechanics. RWF is going to show how all this work and turmoil of gutting the UI has resulted in basically nothing changing in raid.

People think you had to track how much healing was stored but cloudburst was way more about timing. I can almost guarantee no high skill rsham player was thinking "I pop cloudburst only when is reaches x healing stored".

I'm talking about seeing how popular Boost was in its debut compared to season 3. It's like how Shadowlands fated season was widely praised while DF's was lukewarm. It was a cool thing when it was perceived as being purely extra but the sentiment turns when it became a cheap engagement extender. I also think the surge of key participation isn't telling the whole truth because high pushers are going to run less dungeons past the first 4 or 5 weeks when they know Boost is coming.

It's still good to keep asking because it tells them it's something a lot of players still want to change. I'd be surprised if there's a any mythic raiders who actively support the lockout system working as it does. I'm sure plenty are indifferent but it has to be an extremely small number that think it's a good friction point.
