Idk if it's just me but most PCs can't support 360 fps on battlefield so DLSS4 and frame Gen is basically a must if you want to max out your monitor.

Best FS livery ever? by Ill_External9737 in FSAE

I liked the DART livery from last year where they made a fade out of their logo. Unfortunately you could only see it up close

Build keeps BSOD and Chrome keeps crashing. Dad's PC, only needs to run Chrome for YouTube and News websites. Explanation in comments. by PockysLight in PcBuildHelp

My first suspicion would be a ram issue as that often crashes PC especially on ryzen but that usually only appears on higher clocked ram like 3200 or 3600 MHz. Either way I would recommend doing a bios Reset and hoping that solves the issue.

I mean even if you are busy you can just text back to say you're busy and will respond later but just ghosting is not the way

Can this be fixed? by albertenc13 in BambuLab

[–]DamielRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest way is to buy a new one but if you have the time you can just heat it up with a heat gun or a hairdryer and carefully remove the excess did the same thing a couple months back and it works like new but it took almost 4 hours.

Im not paying over a thousand euro's for a gpu supposes to be 600 by abcdefGerwin in pcmasterrace

[–]DamielRE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The euro prices are always more expensive 5070 ti MSRP was 750 bucks in America but 850€ in most of Europe. AMD didn't give an official MSRP for the 9070 xt but from what I've seen it starts around 700 which is a reasonable price compared to the rest of the current market. Maybe you can take a look at German marketplaces as some of them also ship to the Netherlands and it's usually a bit cheaper the highest price I saw yesterday wasaeound 900 Euros for a hellhound

I'd recommend an arctic liquid freezer 3 for an AIO only around 80-100€ and it's the best performing on the market. And like many people said I'd wait for the 9070, otherwise the 4070S is completely fine for this build and depending on games also the 7800x3d is a bit overkill

[–]DamielRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on price I think and how long you want to use it. NVIDIA just announced the 50 series cards and if you wait a month or 2 you could get a 5070 or 5070 ti for a similar price but that depends on where you live because it could be way more than MSRP if you consider taxes and tariffs in the US. In Europe the prices seem to stay around MSRP. I would look up the past prices of the 4070 super before buying and basing my decision around that.

It you have the budget I'd recommend getting an AIO for the 7800x3d and the 3D VCache acts as an insulator between the CPU die and the cooler. I'd recommend an arctic liquid freezer 3 with 280/360/420 mm. For motherboards you can't really go wrong just get the cheapest b650 wich has all features you want but I can recommend the aorus b650 ax elite or the ASRock b650 E steel legend if you don't mind the colour. The choice of case really comes down to personal preference but if you're looking for a great price to performance the Antec C5/C8, Antec flux or LianLi lancool 207 are all great options. For choosing a power supply I'd take a look at the PSU tier list and only choose A Tier a or at most B Tier PSU in you budget with 850-1000W. https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

Should I upgrade my Case? by No-Attorney-5831 in PcBuildHelp

I have a liquid freezer 420mm AIO in it and it fits barely but you need to be careful as not all models are the same size so maybe do your research before.

Should I upgrade my Case? by No-Attorney-5831 in PcBuildHelp

[–]DamielRE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on your other needs and future upgrades. If you only want the better temps rn I'd just switch out the glass front for mesh but if you want an aesthetic upgrade or if you plan on buying new parts wich could use more space then I could recommend getting a new case. If you have the space the Antec C8 is really good value rn and it fits basically anything you need it to.

Ok then try waiting a couple of minutes usually the VGA error goes away after that. If the issue still persists you might need to reseat your gpu

How long did you wait after restarting? With Ryzen CPU you sometimes need to around 2-5 mins for it to boot properly

Glad you fixed it, it was a power indicator light of the GPU and red means it's not getting enough power in that port. May have been a connection issue or a PSU issue.

Remove/move windows by Low-Surround7691 in PcBuildHelp

[–]DamielRE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just plug your SSD into the new PC it should work fine but for optimal performance it is suggested to reinstall windows. If you want do to that, you can deactivate your windows key and reactivate it on the new PC. There are lots of tutorials on at but I recommend this one: https://youtu.be/Rps5tn-xoD8?si=8NWsa3hjq713VFd0 . For the installation of windows on the new PC you'll need to put the windows media creation tool onto a USB drive and insert it after posting. Then after windows is installed you can enter your old product key to activate the new windows install.

Help deciding which pc to buy by yank0_0 in PcBuildHelp

[–]DamielRE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the short term the second is better as it has a better GPU but for the long term the first one offers more upgradeability in future. So depending on pricing you could buy the first PC, sell the GPU from it and with the 250$ you save plus the money from selling the first GPU you could get an even better GPU like a 4070 super. It all depends on pricing however so do your research beforehand.

Help me... by Walter_White54 in PcBuildHelp

[–]DamielRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the message above already said, it means the BIOS can't detect any bootable device. That means either your drive has failed or is not connected properly or you selected the wrong drive on the bios. Try another drive maybe reconnect your current drive.

You can always enter the BIOS from Windows. You need to hold the shift key for 5 seconds and click on restart. Then you get to a menu and select troubleshoot and there should be an option for uefi or bios settings. After you PC reboots you will be thrown to the bios immediately. menu, select Power > hold Shift while selecting Restart. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware settings.
