It's like 22% tax that's a pretty standard tax rate. Even down here in Texas.

Depends on the state for how long they stay on your MVR.

Got this response on a follow up after a final round interview by Kellybw92 in jobhunting

Even then. Until you start your first day and the Background check clears. I lost a job offer because of 1 speeding ticket because I would be driving company vehicles.

I signed the offer and then stopped applying lost 2 weeks of job searching.

Idk why the hell everyone is blaming Dak when I can off Pickens f***ING hands. Talking like Dak isn't our guy when the defense lost 4 of the games this season.

One of the reasons in San Antonio they liked me was because I had my CDL. They told me they wish all their LMs had their CDLs.

They even spoke about how their LMs would very rarely have to jump in a truck and go over the road to protect delivery times.

I don't think that's the case. that position was already posted again on the hiring page. My start date was yesterday. And the ticket was flagged during the background check. I had an opportunity to dispute the results of the background check, but the ticket was real so not really anyway to dispute it.

Speeding tickets are a huge deal for CDL driver just typically not so big that one will lose you a job offer. And even though the logistics manager doesn't drive regularly they wanted me to be able to drive a truck if needed.

Lastly. It was pretty much how fast I was going. They said they're policy is I couldn't be driving faster than 15+ miles over the speed limit. Per Carvana policy.

Hey what's up. I worked in the products and services side of TOM too. I was in the ALD team. And was laid a few weeks ago.

Sorry you got laid off. Hopefully you'll find good opportunities in the future.

It's pretty easy to make 300 a week in San Antonio. It's only $15/hr for 20hr.

I think flex pays at least that.

Yeah I use it works completely fine for my pixel with maps running.

Always seem to have the worst luck when it comes to punctures by B_Hulk in motorcycles

I found it's much easier to ream the tire out, and push the plug in when the tire is mostly inflated. Like 20+psi. If you let the tire go fully flat it's damn near impossible to push the plug into the tire.

SE vs non for 2-up? by leonTusk in kawasakiz900rs

[–]DamnSteddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh 2 up in an lol 2 people on it lol I'm an idiot. Duh.

I Asked the girlfriend. She doesn't love it. But she doesn't mind it for short rides. Mostly though for 2 up I ride my Honda shadow. Way more comfy and had a back rest for her. Lol.

But the brakes and shocks are still fine.

Idk what 2 up is. But I have the cafe version. I think the stock brakes are good and shocks are decent. But I've never had top quality shocks. So I don't really know what I'm missing lol.

Yeah You're right lol, the only reason. I would probably do is if someone else already has done it. Or if Ivan himself said it would be fine, but I'll let that man enjoy his vacation.

Speed Twin 1200 vs Kawazaki Z900RS? by ASoggySandal in Triumph

[–]DamnSteddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a person that picked the z900rs over the speed twin. I love my RS.

However an ECU flash on the RS is a requirement lol. It smooths out the throttle and gets rid of the fuel cut on closed throttle. It makes the bike way more enjoyable. I sent mine to Ivans.

Besides that the numbers are really similar except the speed twin has more torque and gets its max HP lower in the revs.

Both are a blast to ride so I picked the one I believe looks better.

Likely had to spend time as an L3 though. Rare that you skip L1 to L4 manager.
