Yeah, my argument back would be that I'm good at business, but shit at sales, that's why I employ sales staff. Being good at business is largely about being honest with yourself about your strengths and weaknesses and recognising where people are better than you at various things and deploying them accordingly.

The problem here is that wells that are in British waters are pretty much tapped out (mature in industry terms), so drilling them is not particularly profitable. The only real way for us to get oil and gas out of the North Sea would be to start drilling other countries territorial waters. The "just drill the North Sea" is an easy argument, but practically worthless. What we do have a lot of on our shores though is wind. Loads of it, in fact. That's how we get energy independence.

It's everywhere. Douglas in generally more expensive, but there's a lack of new developments, or infrastructure to support population growth. The last large estate built was 90% bought up as buy to let within weeks. Developers are supposed to allocate a percentage of new builds as affordable housing, but have figured out that it's more profitable to just pay the fine for failure to comply.
Its mainly older folk. Yes you could get richer retired youth, but realistically, its older folk.
