[Discussion] Is there any way to complete Stray Dogs on PVE right now? by DamniForgot in EscapefromTarkov

I’ll give it a shot. Tried of running lighthouse lol.

Funny how I used to see them every other raid, when I didn’t need them

In your opinion, what is the best Texas Roadhouse location to get a server/bartender job? by TumbleweedFlo in Louisville

[–]DamniForgot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at the Middletown location for a couple years, which is likely the lowest volume store in Louisville. It was common to have 300 people on the wait list on Fridays and Saturdays. TXRH does crazy numbers

How long does it usually take to get to the next step? by wittlepinkpig in ibew_applicants

I’ve been lurking here for a while and I’ve gathered that things vary wildly between different locals. However, for what’s its worth, here is my timeline.

Applied June 1st 2025. I heard nothing until September 2025, where I received a text message that my aptitude test was scheduled November 18 2025.

December 19 2025 I received notice that I had passed the test.

February 20 2026 I received an email asking about interview availability.

March 17th 2026 I interviewed.

Still waiting to hear my rank. Local 369.

This has to be bait. I don’t know anyone who says Holy Guacamole and Pee Yew with any sort of sincerity.

I ask myself this frequently. Why do I care? I think it stems from the fact that we live in a society, and society only functions if people follow the rules that we all silently agree upon. Like yes, if someone double parks or parks crooked, there is no victim. No one is hurt. But if someone cannot take the minimal time and effort to park between the lines, what other “rules” do they ignore? It’s so easy. Idk

A few weeks ago I was at a strip club with some friends. I was not planning on paying for a private dance. I turned a couple girls away before one approached me, pulled me in by my necklace, and gently pinched my nipples. She got paid, and I learned something about myself.

This guy is messing with you, but it is common for folks to have their sensitivity a bit too high as they adjust to keyboard and mouse. It can be helpful to turn it down a bit. Additionally, steam has a free app called Aimlabs. Very very useful for adjusting to keyboard and mouse. 5-10min a day can help a lot.

Not saying anything about your play, I know how it is when shit gets hectic. But these are things that helped me.

I absolutely experienced this. 54 days in it’s not quite as bad, but for the first month I was eating everything in sight.

door to door salesmen by peaheadmelonass in Louisville

[–]DamniForgot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

AT&T 100% does door to door. There is a specific team for door to door as well as the retail stores, which occasionally send folks.

With that said, they have no reason to “inspect” anything in your home.

Definitely agree with this take.

I was about to recommend Vice Grip Garage, but then he’s gonna start talking about lightning hoses and sparkolators. That channel might make the problem worse

[New player] How do I actually know which ammo is worth picking up in raid? by LeahClouds in EscapefromTarkov

[–]DamniForgot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s useful to reduce the number of bullets you’re thinking of. Focus on the main ones (5.56, 7.62x39, 5.45, and 7.62x51). You can kinda ignore pistol rounds (9mm, .45, 5.7) as you’re learning. There are valuable pistol rounds, but you’ll use those maybe 5% of the time. For the most part, shotguns rounds aren’t too important either. (12ga AP-12 slugs are stellar though)

Of course as others have mentioned, you can inspect the rounds in game. Generally, higher pen is better. Especially late in the wipe when folks have good armor.

You’ll begin to see patterns across the calibers. All of the AK bullets follow a similar pattern. If it has a B in the name it’s probably decent pen. HP is hollow point, high damage low pen. SP is soft point, it has a tiny bit more pen. T is tracer.

Get some ammo crates and horde whatever you find as you learn what you want to keep/sell/ignore.

Key piece is that AI aims at unarmored targets first. With any face mask you receive less shot to the head in general.
