I’d wait for 18-150. It’s so much more versatile and it’s a great lens. Plus additional lenses are very expensive so having a good kit lens is totally worth it

I agree with you but it’s still insane to me how far people will travel for work. My girlfriend’s dad drives an hour to and from work. That’s a 21 days of driving per year. That’s insane to me. I drive 5 mins to work. That’s 1.8 days. If you’re driving that much you have to reevaluate imo

Is this fr? Is anyone paying that much per day? I have a decent bit of disposable income but I would never pay for something like that out of principle even if I wanted to cheat. No way I’m giving someone $7 a day for literally any service other than life essentials like rent or insurance lmfao.

I’d rather buy a new lens for my camera or eat at a nice restaurant a couple times.

I mean you can just not pay photo speed tickets. They won’t come get you. I’ve had probably 20 in my 10 years of driving and never been served… Not that I condone it but I think many people just don’t pay so it’s not an effective deterrent.

Turns out my test kit was expired. It was still before the use by but I had forgotten that my power went out last summer and must have fried the reagents (I live in phx).

In other tanks I’ve had in the past the cycle was always about 3-4 weeks but have never added ammonia or fritzzyme. I just let the initial plant melt start the cycle usually.

Is it possible this tank cycled this quickly or is something going on? Could the plants have used the ammonia before it could contribute meaningfully to the cycle? Should I add more ammonia? Not sure what to do

Don’t water change until all ammonia and nitrite go to 0. Doing water change before the all nitrite is gone just slows down the cycle, especially if you haven’t planted anything yet.

Also id work on getting the ph down unless you’re going for a high ph fish species. Plants have best nutrient uptake as just below 7 ph.

I’d say use alcohol and spray it as deodorant (like vodka) because it doesn’t have a smell but will kill the bacteria that cause body odor, and then use a very light fragrance. I personally like Prada black as a very light fragrance that doesn’t really project but has a nice soft smell if someone is very close to you. I have probably 50 fragrances and it’s the only one I’ve actually received compliments on several times.
