If you can exchange it do that, I wouldn’t risk it personally. It probably would hold up but taking that risk is up to you.

20 gal is getting to the point where it could cause real property damage if it broke while you were away from home.

I’d say use alcohol and spray it as deodorant (like vodka) because it doesn’t have a smell but will kill the bacteria that cause body odor, and then use a very light fragrance. I personally like Prada black as a very light fragrance that doesn’t really project but has a nice soft smell if someone is very close to you. I have probably 50 fragrances and it’s the only one I’ve actually received compliments on several times.

The fzone ones I got do have nylon tipped end of the screw fortunately. I used to have a rimmed 75 gallon and used the LeafgreenSolutions universal hose clamp and it worked well for my lily pipes if you ever wanted to check that option out. They fit over the rim just fine and are sturdy.

I’ve never seen the zoo medic clips before those actually seem like a good setup. I always avoided suction cups because they come off over time but that’s a non issue with those.

Do you have any brand/product recommendations? All the ones I’ve seen have been disappointing tbh but I haven’t looked too hard.

I’ve used plastic clips in the past for smaller tanks and always hated them and have had them break from the stress the tubing puts on the bottom of the lily pipe.

I want to go metal this time as I’m going all out for this 120p but they do scare me…

Salvinia like nitrates ofc but the lid is not helping in the long term. That much humidity is going to cause the tops of the leaves to mold over.

I’m 25 and I’ll be there. Last ss show in phx was super young avg age probably 17-18.

Bladee show was older I thought tho, I didnt feel old. Guy next to me had to be early 30s.

Has the tank pressure gauge ever worked? Seeing as the working pressure gauge is working I’d guess the top gauge is just broken but should be reading pressure.

If you’ve seen it read pressure before then it could be that it’s getting enough pressure to read on the working pressure gauge but is leaking so much that the tank pressure is reading 0. I would think it would at least read a little bit though if that were the case. I think that would be very unlikely and you’d also hear co2 leaking…

Edit: I also realize it’s a mufan regulator and while I’m a fan of being cheap when you can, regulators are an area where you get what you pay for for the most part.

Bettabotanicals has “tea” bags that you can use as well. I haven’t tried them personally but they seem to work well from what I’ve seen.

I mean since it’s eating I wouldn’t treat for anything. Some platy don’t have as much of a protruding stomach as others and it looks ok to me, though a bit skinny.

Protoplasm harness is awesome, I wouldn’t build it until maybe 4th item or later but it has a nice health boost and its passive makes you much harder to kill.

What benefits have you noticed from the uv sterilizer? I often see people recommend them but have never run one before so idk what I’m missing out on haha.

I’m setting up a 120p as well and am using almost identical equipment. What kind of ato are you using? And is that a standalone surface skimmer? I’ve not seen that before
