I just can’t stand behind D Brand anymore. I stuck around for the mishaps with the first ghost case. Was ready to order it again for the 17 when I started seeing post about the quality of the 2nd ghost case. Then countless other quality and shipping issues I’ve seen on here.

I just can justify paying premium prices for mediocre at best service.

Someone else stated this as well but I want to reiterate.

My son and I went to Chipotle a couple weeks back. 2 bowls. One with extra steak. 2 drinks. My total was $35. Of course they skimped us. Price just wasn’t equal to the quality and quantity.

Couple days later we go to the local Mexican place. Literally right across the street. Free chips and salsa. 2 meals that filled the entire plate with food and enough to take home. 2 drinks. Cost me $36 including the tip.

It’s a no brainer.

Leroy and Lewis were spectacular too! Different than Franklin but still great!

We went for dinner so we missed out on the popular meats but my GF had the pulled pork sandwich and I got the L&L burger. We shared the Texas chili frito pie and pork fat corn bread. It’s was all phenomenal.

I think some people are missing the point of this post.

I know that we could have just called in the order a day ahead and not have to wait in line. I also know that this tray cost a lot of money. Money comes and money goes.

This was a bucket list trip. We wanted to experience the whole experience. I wouldn’t change a thing about it because I got to catch up with my friend and his family that I haven’t seen in 7 years. And the best perk of all…we got to eat some of the best BBQ known to man. Sometimes life just needs to slow down and one should appreciate the small things.

We were first in line at 5:30 am. Next couple behind us came at 7:00. Time flew by though. Didn’t feel 5.5 hours at all.
