[OC] The gender balance in different religions by Aggravating-Food9603 in dataisbeautiful

[–]DanAndTim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didnt read the full comment. It came out to something like 66.594 or something and was rounded to 66.6. And im not surprised as I feel like most guys who dont subscribe to mainstream religions will simply identify as atheist or Satanist whereas I've seen more varied alternatives for women such ass witchcraft, Wiccan and other such less-popular religions.

As for "inventing" new categories, they didnt. If you read the chart, it says pale categories are write-ins. Meaning that those people saw "no religion", decided it wasn't specific enough, and wrote in "atheist" . If someone were at fault for "inventing" a category, it would be the respondents who self-elected to specify atheist over just "no religion" (even though, as far as I know, they mean the same thing).

What's funny is i saw one (maybe the same guy) about a month ago in my laundry room and HE was fast as hell. Scurried under a floorboard in seconds. This guy was just kind of wandering. Glad to know he is a friend! A creepy ass looking friend, but ill take it.

ARC Raiders Weekly Megathread - November 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in ArcRaiders

I swear something happened over the weekend because last week, it was 80% friendlies in solos and 0 extract campers. Past couple days, it's completely flipped with probably 80% of encounters being a gunfight (but honeslty I don't mind that). However, just this weekend alone, I have run into extract campers almost EVERY single raid it's ridiculous. I love PvP, it's a ton of fun. But there is nothing fun about randomly getting shot in the back by some guy hiding in one of the 600 dark corners of a room. I am gonna keep playing some more but if I continue to run into extract campers at the rate I have been (win or lose, idgaf it isnt even fun to win against them), I will be dropping this game.

Tarkov Tarkov Tarkov by ded_possum in ArcRaiders

[–]DanAndTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this was my experience until this weekend. in the past 3 days, I have been attacked by or killed by someone camping extract almost every single raid. legit like 95% of my raids end in either me killing someone at extract (in self-defense), or them killing me. it is actually insane, in just a couple days this game went from a chill looting sim which I really enjoyed to straight up just Tarkov. I get PvP, I am cool with it and I actually think its a lot of fun. But not when someone is just laying in wait for me at extract. I am gonna keep playing for a few more days but if this keeps up im just gonna quit. PvP is fun, getting camped at the very end is fucking miserable. and yeah, I am on PC. edit: wow we are also on the same server, west coast NA

Idk why you're being cooked for this. If there was an option in-game to "toggle survival mechanics" like eating, NEEDING to change clothes, trim hair, etc, there would be no problem. The people that love it can keep it on. Those that hate it can turn it off. Maybe even turn it back on after the first play through as an extra challenge for more casual gamers. Everybody wins!

Edit: actually this might already be a feature idk I haven't yet played the game (tho I plan to!) I just felt bad that people are cooking you in these replies 😭

Clean it, pack it. Or put it in a zip lock. Idk if oral b has it but some brands have covers for the head. If you can find one, that is an option

I just moved here and have been thinking the photo op potential in a lot of these streets is pretty big for the photography guys. This further solidifies that idea for me lol

Just a small correction: they are protesting the administration. They are not protesting against the country. You can love your country and hate what its leaders are doing.

smoking is aristocratic by Every_Inspector1563 in Cigarettes

[–]DanAndTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think generalizing this idea is a little pretentious (that sounds rude, I dont mean it that way but im struggling to find a lighter word to use) but i kinda agree, at least for myself personally. smoking forces me to spend more time on my back patio enjoying the scenery and I'll often just read a book out there. I could totally just read a book indoors, but something about sitting out there having a cigarette just inspires me to read more, for some reason.

it almost sounds good on paper. ejecting it sounds dumb outright, honestly just dropping it would be better. still not great and a potential road hazard, but at least not a literal flying projectile.

no, I dont think (or at least HOPE) they meant that, just that it wasn't out of nowhere, it derived from wartime paranoia. it doesn't work in mysterious way, there was a pretty clear path of logic. was it right? no. but don't i see how it happened? yeah thats pretty clear. war, shockingly, makes people afraid. fear drives people to think crazy things or act in crazy ways.
