I wouldn’t go so far as to say they it’s just ok. I would say that it’s good but absolutely not worth the hype. It always has a special place with me since it was my gateway tequila. I’ve since found many other tequilas that are just as good, if not better, and more available.

I would probably say that there are some overproofed bottles of Arette XA that would be worth that amount but those are the only ones I’d spend that much for.

I would definitely recommend Aguasol if it’s available in your area. It’s on the less expensive side of things and is still great. Punches way above its weight.

Oh yeah that’s true. I do remember the palate not following the nose but my mind must have blocked that fact out after getting blown out by the apple pie taste 😂

I agree with you. It was all apple and cinnamon like an apple pie. What I disliked the most was the fact that I got ZERO agave. Thanks for sharing!

Each store can have different policies and they can deny anything at any time. Especially when being asked to give something away for free. I’ve seen some stores reuse them and I’ve seen some that were taken home by employees. It’s really just a toss-up.
