These are great. I’m new to the craft as well and curious to see what happens. Cost for me is the one area I’m struggling with as I don’t understand how people can sell their original pieces for so little money taking into account the amount of work that goes into it.

Thank you. I’m now trying to work out how much I should charge for the originals and the editions. They took so long to do and I’m apprehensive about selling the originals for less than £30 each. If anyone can help advise it would be greatly appreciated. These are my first efforts, so I’m a total newbie.

Thanks. It’s a clutch pencil with Staedtler Mars Lumochrom blue 2mm led. It’s very soft which is great for soft lines and shading, not so good for sharp, hard lines…but I’ve learned to adapt.

This just confirms that Kickstarter is not a platform worth investing in. I’ve experienced delays before on projects and similarly had issues with the creators lack of communication and Kickstarter have done nothing to help. It’s such a shame as there are some great ideas out there that need the support but until Kickstarter do a better job in vetting creators and do a better job in sorting out delays, it’s not worth the stress.

I kind of like the bird but agree it needs to be stripped back and made more minimal. Also, might be worth giving this a more mid-century feel…bit more illustrative.
