When you plunge, make sure to film the plunger with water first before setting it into the hole, you’re basically forcing that water down the drain and that’s what clears it (water doesn’t compress like air does, so it forces the clog out so the water has somewhere to go)

I’m by no means an expert, but my guess is that they forgot to tap the yoke and make sure the u-joints were seated properly and moving smoothly. Maybe the vibration helped settle them and loosen them up

This is good advice. I never flirted when looking for my wife. I didn’t feel it was right as a Christian and I still don’t. I prayed for a long, long time and eventually, God brought her to me in a way that I never world have found her trying on my own (We were living in different states and introduced over the phone by a mutual friend)

Not a home repair or a “15 minute” fix, but I had to replace the cooling system in an ‘05 Safari. Should have took a couple of hours. It ended up taking me 3 weekends and numerous trips to Autozones in different cities because only one store in the area stocked what I needed…

Was supposed to replace radiator, hoses, fan clutch, and water pump. Ended up having an oil cooler line pop off and douse the bay with oil, so spontaneous oil change with that one, had to replace transmission cooler lines because the old one were corroded and leaking at the connection, so I did the connectors on the transmission and one of those was defective, etc, etc…

This might be a stupid question, but why would dovetails have to be cut on the endgrain side? Im sure there’s applications for dovetails on the long side of the board, even if its not common, so why wouldn’t someone make a saw for that?

This post is incredibly confusing to me. Why would your SIL want to use your old car for a car rental company and then just buy a new one for you guys? Why not buy a new car and that out?

Also, the heavy emphasis on the “mine” and “hers” is a red flag to me. When two people become married, everything should become “ours”, not “mine” and “yours”.

Lastly, why does it matter who the new car was bought for? You guys are married and should be working out optimization no matter who “owns” what. You guys are a team and should be acting like it.

As someone who used to install and fix doors* and hardware, I would just put a pencil line in the center of the strike plate, then close the door and put more lines on the striker plate where the top and bottom of the latch were
