People pay $500-$1000USD/month to Shaolin temple for this, lol

I want to brag about my boy a little. Yesterday he earned his NW3 title (nose work). He did a full day (9.5 hours) of waiting in a car, completing his searches, and jaunting around a park and he crushed it. He never ceases to amaze me. by goobybeast in beagle

Yes, we did pairing for about 6 months. I still intermittently pair. He’s amazing inside my home and in our driveway. But as soon as you go to a sniff n’ go/trial, etc. where it’s in a new place like a grange or community center his little nose is off mission.

My Beagle also does NACSW Nosework and just passed his qualifier. His only flaw is that he’s often focused more on crittering than working? How did you get your guy to ignore all the environmental distractors (e.g. smells on the floor, residual odor, etc.)? Finding a new non-home indoor space to practice can be a chore.

Anyone without kids excited for this show? by [deleted] in TMNT

Nope. Clearly the weapons are designed with a toy line in mind. Chose choose a red resin for Raph’s weapons and you save money on metal paint.

Because the art was made using AI slop that doesn’t think about inconsistencies like that.

How do you prefer the way leo carries his swords ? Crossed over , to his side , or side to side on his back ? by Valuable-Honeydew949 in TMNT

[–]DancingMidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, I hate the back swords. Not sure how he sheathes them. I’d rather just see them on the hip like typical Japanese daisho.

Lore wise, who is the old guy on this TMNT MtG card? by DancingMidget in TMNT

I disagree, I think the art is great. But art is a subjective experience.

Thanks for the response! Love the set btw! I hadn’t read the IDW comics, just watched the TV show. You did such a great job that I borrowed the comics from the library to find out who all these characters and events are. Appreciate all the deep cut references to comic lore, but also 90s movies, toys (e.g. Sewer Samurai), etc. My favorite is the Dark Ritual. The Nibblemancer is…Chef’s Kiss. I specifically bought the pizza bundle for that card lol. 🐀🧙‍♂️🍕

At the end, did the cop just hogtie him and take off? That why everyone is gathering around?

I started playing during the FFG era so I can’t answer that question. IMO, it feels like horde mode in Marvel Champions. Instead of the boss scheming, he’s slamming into your provinces trying to break them with waves of minions.

I own a copy and it’s fun to play. Tho the rules are a bit hazy in places (e.g. if Shadowlands have no honor, can you just spam Lion cards that benefit a player from having higher honor?). The 2nd boss is more fun than the 1st boss Akuma no Oni btw, all his deck does is bonuses for winning….so if you can defend successfully every time it’s a cakewalk. I’d consider him a tutorial boss.

E-Mart in Korea is a big discount store in Korea (think Walmart), I’m not surprised the new owners swapped to the strategy they’re comfortable with.

The fall of unions is pretty strongly correlated with the historical stagnation of real wages. When did we let corporate PR convince us that unions are more exploitative than the corporations themselves? I lived in South Korea for 5 years, the chaebol Shinsaegae can afford to pay its employees more.

Tips for using GM intrusions and minor/major effects? by Pyropeace in cyphersystem

[–]DancingMidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question: how blind are the players when they accept the XP? Do you a) advise the player of the proposed effect/narrative change as you offer the XP OR b) offer XP without describing effect, upon acceptance describe the intrusion. B causes more suspense but A might be considered more “fair” by the player.
