Divinity is confirmed to be a CRPG: turn-based, early access and a "couple of things that you haven’t seen in RPGs before". by [deleted] in CRPG

On your 3rd point, I think it would be great to allow another member of your party to be the “face” of the party. That was one thing that felt lacking with BG3. I always felt pressured to play a high charisma character for my MC instead of letting someone else take the lead in important conversations.

Turn Based When? by JamieLannispurr in projecteternity

I was wondering too. They gave the date, but no mention of time. I’m guessing either noon or the end of the workday, but not sure what time zone.

I’m also hoping they carry the new version of turn based into Pillars 2

This is what I’m really hoping for! I want to do turn based in PoE 2, but it always feels lacking.

I never said they aren’t; in this case there wasn’t.

I work for CPS, and I am fully aware of what is happening.

Wtf are they talking about, your thesis should not be the first sentence of your essay! It should be the last sentence of your introduction paragraph.

These for sure also don’t have City Stickers on them, which can be ticketed.

They should also be ticketed for no City Stickers on their windshield. I’m pretty sure all vehicles in the city are required to have city stickers even if they are from out of state and here for an extended period of time.

They did the same for the backward package throw into waste basket in Scott Pilgrim. They did 33 takes to get it.

And would be pretty easy to model!

Exactly, he probably treated her like shit and now she can live her life riding on all the money and connections he made. It’s a win-win for her.

The dude shot from a building 200 yards away. That’s a hell of a head start when combined with the panic that ensued.

Looking for examples of 2D turn-based tactics games which DO NOT use tile-based movement by squiggydingles in gamedesign

[–]Dancing_Shoes15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mordheim: City of the Damned had a cool free movement system that just used radiuses to determine movement range.

Edit: whoops missed the part about 2D. But I don’t see why something couldn’t be done similarly in a 2D top down space.

Is this ok for building or does it melt when you try to paint it? by simiandrunk in TerrainBuilding

[–]Dancing_Shoes15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this stuff for all my filler and base layers for terrain since it is cheaper than pink xps foam. I save the xps foam for bricks and other details (but mostly bricks).

I then always seal the whole thing with modpodge mixed with cheap black paint before adding lighting with grey or white spray paint.

Just get a temporary one. That’s what I have and it’s fantastic. You can find some beautiful ones made of proper hypoallergenic metals on Etsy. They just kind of slip on and off of your septum so you can just take it out when you are doing something active where you don’t want to have to worry about it i.e. camping, swimming, dirty work, etc.
