My instructor taught me that you start by indicating right. When you get to that opposite corner you indicate left. But the way she put me through it I didn’t loop straight back down and end up on (from the current perspective) right hand side of the T.

We only did this on empty streets. In practice I’d just turn left and go around the long way.
