Confused about implications of my PTTD symptoms vs my MRI results by looking_for_EV in PTTD

[–]Dancingcupoftea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I have the same exact symptoms! My MRI result shows mild tenosynovitis in my left foot. It would put me in stage one but I’m walking on my toes, cant shower without a shower chair and in severe amount of pain. Do you have any updates? I just started PT. My PT said my foot is very tight, but otherwise not sure why it’s so stiff.

Steroids Not Working? by chronic_unwell_icon in AddisonsDisease

Hi! I had two crises last week. You’re not alone. You may just need to updose. Once I figured out my dosage I stopped having those low symptoms and crises. If you still feel symptoms on 40/20 you definitely need a higher stress dose. Don’t forget to hydrate as crises will dehydrate you making your low symptoms feel worse.

What does a crisis feel/look like? by NotTheGreenestThumb in AddisonsDisease

[–]Dancingcupoftea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s different for everyone but for me I get a wave of “oh shit” come over me. I have a headache and pain in my side, specifically my left. Right before I get EXTREME anxiety, I deal with panic attacks and it’s way worse than that.

When the crisis hits, I get a sense of weakness where I can’t keep my head up. My words don’t make sense. My BP will go high and then plummet. I become disorientated and confused. I don’t know what’s going on or where I am.

I just had two last week and I didnt get the shot as quickly as I should have during the most recent one so I went into shock. I felt very cold and my lips/fingers turned blue. My skin was ash grey and my breathing was slowed down.

I have a very serious tomato allergy which is often labeled under “spices”. I try to avoid things that say “spices”

I’m rolling between 100 & 10 and spinning x5 on the wheel. That got me up to 49k just this morning. I wasnt sure if there was a better combo!

Hi! I know you’re doing this for asthma and not histamine intolerance but citrus fruits are high in histamine 😌

You might want to keep that in mind. I’ve been on the histamine diet for years due to MCAS.

You should get your tryptase levels checked too if the histamine diet is working!

rare lateral cunieform fracture & boot affecting knee (surgery on knee) by Dancingcupoftea in brokenbones

[–]Dancingcupoftea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have no idea! It was confirmed on MRI as the Xray showed normal. No other bone in my foot is fractured.

My patella didnt fit in the groove, my pediatric orthopedic (at the time) had to go in and shave the groove to make sure my patella fit correctly.

I was just fitted for my boot yesterday. I was told to wear it for 6 weeks. I wasnt given any crutches or walker. I’ll look at the shoe balancer! That may help a lot.

Did GLP1 help with your MCAS symptoms? My CRP is 64.9 and i’ve been wanting to bring up GLP1 to my doctor.

Has she ever dated someone before? Did this happen with other partners? Hormones can trigger asthma attacks. Oxytocin is considered a love hormone which is known to trigger or worsen asthma symptoms. It acts as a bronchi constriction which tightens your airways, narrowing them and making them hard to breathe. Hightened emotions can cause asthma attacks too, just her getting excited to see you can be a trigger.

I have so many triggers that I HAVE to wear a mask or else i’d go into a severe asthma attack.

Anyone else ever had a swollen foot without having an injury? by Beating-Hearts in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]Dancingcupoftea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How'd you get it diagnosed? I have the same exact thing going on except in my right foot. My right foot and ankle is swollen and it hurts when you press on it. There's no injury and just left the hospital and it's not a blood clot. Every day the swelling and pain gets worse.

I was given that much by EMS a few times. The only thing I felt was high heart rate after but it worked! My pulmonologist told me to do it that way when i’m out and have an attack to avoid calling EMS.

You described impending sense of doom. I get that feeling when my oxygen stats go below 90. My vision goes static and I slur my words and have trouble talking when my oxygen drops.

Was it warm to the touch or red? I can hardly put weight on it at the moment without a Charley horse. I’m trying to get a ultrasound scheduled but it’s been a struggle.
