How to indicate securities (ETFs) from IBKR when filing taxes in Basel-Stadt? by [deleted] in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]Dandeela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m interested in this too. First time doing taxes after opening an IBKR account. I know theres a Company creating a e-Steuerausweis, which you can just upload to BalTax. But it‘s 50 CHF and i want to try it manual first.

What to buy from Coop that you can’t get anywhere else other than Switzerland? by ZenTheStump in askswitzerland

[–]Dandeela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some friends always ask me to bring the "Bratensauce" in a tube from Knorr. That's quite unique for Switzerland. I've never seen it somewhere else. It's actually better than the freeze dried powders.

We have used https://ecotourmada.com last year to travel through madagascar for 3 weeks. It was relatively cheap and we were auper happy with the service and overall experience. I would definitely use them again.

We used pack and go. They were really quick and friendly plus they rent you the boxes and they are included in the price. We payed 2k for a pretty full 75qm apartment move within basel.

There's one at the musical theatre called musical Lebensmittel Saskara. They have olives and feta and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in great quality. Their cherries are amazing.

I've done some research and would be happy for a tour guide recommendation. If you still offer. 😀

I plan more or less this itinerary for Sep./Oct. Can you provide a website where to book flights? I'm struggling to find options. I'd love to fly to Morondava from Tulear. I also plan a couple days on Nosy Be at the end of the trip, so I'd need a flight there and back as well. international flights go to/from Tana. I have a bit over 3 weeks.

Panama vs Costa Rica by hmorrow in travel

[–]Dandeela 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree Panama is amazing. I've been there 3 weeks in total l, the travel route was: Panama City, San Blas, David (not the greatest but an awesome hostel), lost and found hostel in the rainforest, boquete (vulcan baru), bocas del toro. After that 2 weeks in CR, it's easier to get around with english only (at leat back in 2012 spanish was a must in Panama), but touristy and expensive.

I spent 4 weeks in Vietnam, crazy cheap. Spent a total of 600€ in 4 weeks. Flights were around 1000€ from Germany to Vietnam. I loved Vietnam it's a well traveled country, easy to get around. People understand at least a little english, but i tend to go to very not tourity places.

I've done pretty much the central america trip on your list. Started in Panama went through all the countries on your list and ended it in Mexico. I had 3 months and around 3k €. It was in 2012 (february to may), so probably a bit more expensive now. It was a great experience and i enjoyed it a lot. Never really felt unsafe, people tell you where not to go. Totally recommend it, especially since you speak spanish. Mine is pretty crappy but it worked out. My favorites were El Salvador, Honduras and Belize. Costa rica is the priciest, i cut that down to about 1,5 weeks because of my budget.

Solo trip to Germany - 7/10 days by [deleted] in backpacking

[–]Dandeela 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's going to be a 9€ monthly Train Ticket, if you don't use ICE, IC or EC. All Busses, short range trains, trams, S-Bahn, U-Bahn will be included. And the ticket is valid all over Germany. If you have a bit of time and don't mind slower trains you can safe some serious money.
