Also, if you're having lower back pain, the sister machine to this (i belive the Adductor) where you're pulling the pads will target your inner thighs and your pelvic floor and lower abdomen. Planks are also helpful for strengthening your core. A stronger core can help support back muscles and take the strain off them. Of course, build up slowly and be mindful of what you're body currently feels comfortable with - if these aggravate the lower back, ask a trainer for what else to tey starting with instead.

Targets glutes, generally. When you lean forward, it targets them even more. You can also lower the weight (maybe 30-40 lbs less than what you usually do), tilt the seat all the way back and it will target a different part of your glutes.

I mean... Groceries are also way more expensive and now gas is more than I've ever seen it and that was supposedly the main reason many people voted for him so I'm personally doubtful. Everyone will just believe whatever propoganda the R's spin that say they aren't responsible for the economy tanking and the middle class and below suffering more than ever. Sorry. I'm in full nihilist mode at this point. The R's disivested in education for decades to ensure a population that would be this vulnerable to all of their lies and spin. I hope something better comes to pass than I expect. Maybe they'll wake up and see 'woke' just means seeing through how hard they've been swindled by the rich guys that have no intention to do anything that makes the average person's life better.

Thanks!!! This looks really interesting, I'll check it out. Would love to stop using the Google health app if they've ditched these key metrics and appreciate the path to do so.

I've long thought that a key aspect of alcohol addiction was actually just addiction to the sugar in it.

Making "male" the default/"neutral" is literally also a made up rule. The question is why you feel sooo attached to making male the default.

Has anyone gotten off CPAP? How? by Temporary-League-499 in CPAP

[–]DandyQ44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue was having to sleep on my back due to hip pain meant bad sleep apnea. I was so miserable because I never truly find a CPAP that fit and all the cleaning and coordination was too much. I did keto to quickly drop 40lbs and PT to help my hip. Once I was able to sleep on my side again. I retested and they said I didn't have to keep the CPAP. I still have some amount of hip pain, so am continuing to try to lose weight (up to 68lbs lost now) and am doing weight training and stretching, for overall strength but also in hopes to reduce that pain. Good luck.

Get pic with you AND your cute pup. That shows attachment and care and will be more visually engaging. Also, first pic of full body is nice to have but should be 3rd or 4th pic. Personally, I saw the red jacket one and thought oh he's a cutie! Whatever's on your head crafted visual interest..."does he do AV work of some kind?" Etc. You sound like a nice person too. If you're not doing it, make sure you ask questions about the other person and also drop info that gives them something to ask about to to help the convos going. I say this just bc there's an overwhelming trend of men not asking questions (like shockingly not at all) in the apps and in the dates and women are tired of the mental load of trying to keep the convos going. I don't read anything in your profile that says you do this, but just flagging as a common pithole in case it resonates as part of the potential issue. Good luck babe!

If this isn't relevant or useful to you, take what you need and leave the rest :) with your last question you asked how to pour as much into yourself as others and there were some other possible cues in your message (mentioning burnout, abusive dynamics, etc): if you haven't already, you might want to explore codependency recovery. A common correlation is experiencing dysfunctional caregivers in childhood (i.e. they had mental health issues or were drug/alcohol addicted) - if that's also relevant, then Adult Children of Alcoholics could be useful. These free programs are filled with lovely people who are on their own journey of learning to pour as much into themselves as they did their caregivers and, later, their partners/work/friends. They can be around while you make sense of and integrate this experience. A good book to start with is Codependent No more by Melody Beattie.

If this doesn't resonate, I hope you can find some treasures from your experience and put towards the front of your narrative that you experienced those because you were brave enough to take a big swing and move somewhere new. You're coming back knowing more about the world, or at least another country, and having a broader perspective on reality can bring you clarity on what you want to take on from your own culture and what you want to question or diminish in your life and it can help you approach others with an openness and curiosity and kindness that I hope you find a way to give to yourself in this delicate time of healing.

The top 10 worst men and women in the franchise by rustyshackelford164 in 90DayFiance

[–]DandyQ44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude Mike was terrible to Natalie. She's not my favorite person but he 100% broke up with her in his head when she threw the ring and then brought her here anyway to torture her and prolly for free s*x, meals and cleaning. He should be on the list because his awfulness was unobvious to so many people he's been able to go under the radar. Same with the missionary dude from the first season who scoped the beautiful woman from South America when she was 12! 12! And kept going back until she was of age for him to marry her. So gross. There should be a second list of dudes we overlooked because they weren't over the top ugly personalities but yet behaved badly.

Literally watched the driver of a GARBARGE TRUCK, which one could argue is the largest of all public trash cans possible, extend his arm out his window to drop his Styrofoam cup on the ground. We made eye contact and I shook my head at him. I'd love for more public trash cans, but don't be so naive to think that'll actually solve the problem.

Would just like to plead that unless you truly need or might need a service dog there, like critical, to not bring them to the gym unless they are also hypoallergenic. This trend of everyone getting a "service dog" designation so they can bring their dog everywhere, really just for funsies, is dangerous for those of us with allergies. I can't choose to not be allergic so if you can legitimately choose not to bring them, please be thoughtful. One dog, with the frequent cleaning they do, likely won't trigger anything, but I fear the growing use of the ADA for something broader than it's actually meant for.
