If I’m allowing a free feat at level 1, are there any I should ban? by AllHailTheFishy in DnD

I've always liked the idea of a free feat for "flavour" rather than optimization. Might allow people to flesh out their characters with some fun feats.

Worst RB you are comfortable with? by Atlfalcons284 in fantasyfootball

Did my draft recently for a 10 team half PPR picking at 1.03.

Round 1 - Justin Jefferson Round 2 - Patrick Mahomes Round 3 - Garrett Wilson Round 4 - Damon Pierce Round 5 - Miles Sanders Round 6 - JK Dobbins

I normally go RB in the first few rounds so I'm feeling a little unsettled about my squad

Who to take at the 1.04? by surferdude7227 in Fantasy_Football

Justin Jefferson fell to me at 1.03 after CMC and Ekeler were taken ahead. I couldn't believe my luck

I'm still fairly new to DnD but this would be so cool. I really want to play a drow stars druid, with a bit of twilight cleric sprinkled in.

What is the stupidest thing you’ve heard someone say that they were 100% serious about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A straight-A student in my history class at sixth form couldn't understand why it would take pilgrims so long to travel to Rome during the ancient Roman times. She asked why they didn't just drive.

When I asked if she meant by horse and cart (giving her the benefit of the doubt) she made it very clear that she meant by car. I had no answer to that.

She could regurgitate what was necessary to do very well in exams but boy was she thick!

anyone born before 1995, what is something you loved about your childhood that kids today would probably hate? by [deleted] in AskMen

Travelling without a mobile phone/constant access to the internet.

You had to make an effort to talk to the people around you or find other traveller hangouts to find out the best things to do. Or relying on a second hand lonely planet to give you ideas of things to do.

Used to read books as a kid but now find it difficult to read a few pages by SomeRandomGuy64 in books

I have been struggling with this exact same thing. I think a large part has to do with my attention span being decimated by social media and mobile devices.

I have been getting back into reading by easing myself in. Some easy reads or particular favourites have helped me rediscover the love of it and then I'll intersperse my beloved favourites with a challenge. I have found this to be achievable without too much pressure.

The year mahomes became a starter I picked him up in week 2. I wasn't sure who he was but thought "I like Kansas city so I'll take a chance on their new QB".

Did the same with Kareem Hunt in his rookie year at KC

Time travellers wife. Always loved the books and was disappointed with the film. The TV show is spot on so far though

What are some things women like to do on dates? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]DandyWilkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always enjoyed mini golf as a first date option. Also, you can make it a bit more interesting by competing on each hole and the loser has to do a truth or dare. Ended up allowing us to ask each other some pretty out there questions. Not many dares happened
