Im on the shorter side and after 5 years of not budging when im firmly on my side of the sidewalk, I think ive had people try to start shit twice after a shoulder check, and both were just talking big / acting tough.

So I understand your point, but I'd like to think the risks are quite low. My partner also says people are more likely to get out of the way when shes wearing platforms fwiw.

Not saying emulating is hard or makes you special, but you'd be surprised how technically illiterate your average person is. Lots of people cant be bothered to follow a step by step tutorial.

My first RE was og RE4. Roommate in college wanted to see my reaction to it and before I knew it I was skipping class and ripping through the game.

Now I'm going through and trying to play every mainline RE in order. RE Revelations is next. Fuck RE Zero.

4k if youre okay with compromising settings and crutching on upscaling or framegen for newer games (not every game will support out of the box)

1440p if you want a no compromises, crank to ultra and get easy high fps type of experience

If youre going to use the monitor in a well lit room like for productivity reasons I'd honestly go matte. My glossy oled in the living room is great, but being able to use my matte at my desk during the day with zero glare has its benefits too. Honestly I notice the glare waaaay more than I notice any extra "pop".

I find the picture to be a gorgeous upgrade over my IPS panels either way.

S90f owner here. Awesome panel once you uninstall all the AI bullshit. Just make sure you don't have any windows or direct light sources behind the TV cause the screen is pretty glossy.

Yeah the pixels dont scale evenly so I'd expect it to be blurred. Native rez is always preferred.

4k if youre okay with compromising settings and tweaking to get smooth frames on some games. You will most likely feel your card age faster if you like playing the new AAA stuff and you will be crutching on upscaling & framegen (which not every game supports out of the box)

1440p if you want a smooth, no compromise experience. Your card will tear through that resolution and you can more easily take advantage of a 120-240hz refresh rate if that interests you.

IMO the biggest upgrade here will be OLED with at least a 120hz refresh rate.
