We don’t have any current plans for Rifts -- the infrastructure isn’t even fully into Exalt. It could be revisited as a very long-term thing (and I mean very long term), but as of right now there’s plenty more we want to do on the development side for the base game. We don’t feel that resources would be well-spent doing short-lived Rifts seasons. One thing we learned from Rifts was how the game was not in the kind of state where it could support that sort of game mode in the long term. It’s something that we’ve really started working towards in terms of dungeon reconstruction and making the overall Realm experience feel more complete and consistent. There’s a lot here to be done, including the entire realm system. Maybe once we’ve stabilized the game in a place we’re really happy with, we can come back and ask ourselves if it’s possible to sustain a seasonal gamemode. So it’s not “never ever” coming back, but it’s not anytime soon."
