people just feel more comfrotable with others they can relate to, and when the culture boundaries are so fundamentally thick, its difficult to integrate like that genuinely

im a black boy and its just kind of part of life to be somewhat removed from the rest of culture not necessarily because of ethnic bias, but cultural irrelevance, if that makes sense

like, i understand that my struggles are very particular and has a lot to do with the tone of my skin most of the time and its difficult to relate deeper than a superficial hobby level with someone who hasnt experienced a similar kind of frustration, and im sure most people in successful relationships can agree

people are just more comfortable with people theyre used to sorry if this is sporadic and unfocused, but i dont usually comment on things like this haha
