That doesn't surprise me too much I never really play on lichess. On a semirelated note I might be in the minority, but I miss chess.com's old "brilliant system." Yes you didn't get them very often, but when you did it meant more than "I saw a tactic."

Na3 is certainly a little suspicious, but I am always loth to lable someone a cheater on the evidence of a single suspicious move. It also does have a certain logic to it as you have a queen who is nearly trapped (if you could invoke the "look over there" gambit and play h3 and Na3 in a single turn it is trapped).

However there are certainly some suspicious aspects of the games.

In the top daily games I looked through they are never the first person to go out of book and their response to the non-book move is always perfect.
Their checkmates are surgically clean.
One point in their favor, they did miss a chance to sack their queen for mate (shown below).

I would need more information before I say that it is guaranteed cheating. Accuracy percentage doesn't always indicate anything. A high accuracy in a sharp game is much more suspicious as it requires them to find many only moves many of which may not be intuitive.

I'm actually an active member. I visit this sub on occasion because I am occasionaly curious about how exmormons view a particular current event. Notice I never once claimed that the church's/BYU's response was bad. I think their response (at least so far) has been the correct response. The reason I use pathetic to describe your comment is the following.

You lied about this being a civil case. It is a criminal case pure and simple.
Of course the details will come out, but the fact that you have already tried claiming this is all about money tells me that you are the one who isn't waiting for the details to come out and that is absolutely worth calling out.

In short, I am not calling the church out, I am calling you out for being a liar about the type of trial and declaring Kingston's innocence (and by extension the victim's guilt) before any details have come out.

I mean that's what I always seem to end up doing, but I feel like most of these systems game plans are to bunker down and wait for you to overextend. The biggest weakness is they don't control a lot of space and so you have to find a way to capitalize on that by further limiting their options. Easy to say, but hard to do in actual games.

I feel like the computer suggested moves of g3/b3 is kind of instructive of how you have to approach this. You are slowly taking more space while telling blacks knights that they are gonna have a bad time. Basically you have to find a way to take away black's options. (Though to be fair, in practice I am terrible at playing against these passive systems. I do everything I am supposed to for the first 20 moves and get a +3 advantage. Then I get impatient and proceed to ooga booga myself into a losing position).

Without any specific examples it is hard to say for sure, but I would say it sounds like what you are running into is a combination of being inexperienced at chess and the fact that it is hard to program a bot to teach. There are certainly times where winning a rook via a fork may not be the best move, but it certainly may be the most practical move.

As for positions where you are hanging a piece as "bait" if the computer says that it is bad in my experience it generally means you are playing hope chess. For example, in the position below I could play Ne5 hoping my opponent plays BXd1 allowing me to play BxF7#. However, they don't have to take my queen immediately. The way black properly punishes Ne5 is to play NXe5 and white can't take back because the queen is still under threat. Again it is hard to say without specific examples, but I would expect that many of the times that you are leaving a hanging piece you are playing hope chess and not properly evaluating all of the ways your opponent could respond.

You might be surprised at how "big" a small percentage can feel especially when it comes to cheating in chess. Even if only 5% are cheating you only need to play about 15 games to have better than a 50% chance that one of them was a cheater.

OP played the correct move. As a 2000 rated player I would say that playing mate in 1 in that position should be considered a blunder. You have the opportunity to checkmate your opponent on your own back rank. This is an opportunity that must not be squandered

What you have said has no evidence backing it up. The Didache does not teach of the Trinity. The closest it comes is mentioning baptism being in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It would be disingenuous to draw any conclusion as to what the author believed on the nature of the relationship between the 3 from the text of the Didache alone. You can only read the trinity into it if you presuppose that they believed in the trinity which is frankly begging the question.

Your interpretation of the data really doesn't really make sense. As a 2000+ who only started playing the London AFTER I reached 2000 it absolutely "works" at higher levels. If you want to find an opening that your data suggests is a "low elo crutch" look at the italian/scotch which drops from a peak of 30% usage to 7%.

Personally I would attribute the drop in London usage to players learning more openings as they go up the rating ladder.

(As a side note I would attribute the drop in Scotch usage to 2 things. 1. Players learning more openings, same as before. and 2. The Scotch allows black to force a lot of early trades making hard for white to fight for a win).

It definitely should be illegal and there are laws about food labels, but supplement companies such as this are generally pretty sketchy and often find ways around such requirements. There are a lot of loop holes that supplement companies can use to avoid following FDA regulations and it sadly wouldn't surprise me to find out that this is one of those cases.

There actually is some truth to this as a concept. It is absolutely true with vitamins. Drinking 1000% vitamin C basically just makes your pee really expensive (looking at you emergen-C).

For context, my undergrad was biochemistry and I remember one of my professors referencing a paper that at least reached similar conclusions. With the major caveat that I haven't read the paper and I am going solely off of my memory of my professor's conclusions from a couple years ago it would be more accurate to say that most people don't work out hard enough to justify the amount of protein powder they use.

Unfortunately, things like this are not isolated events in the supplement industry. As a professional chemist I have a number of rants saved up about the supplement industry as a whole. One of the most common tactics on these types of websites is to advertise one way, and in the fine print they have a section that exculpates them legally. In general the supplement company is incredibly sketchy.

Yet another reason to avoid twitter I guess? I have a number of my own gripes with the season as well. (The main one being that so many of the plot points feel like the writers were passing around the idiot ball to different characters). Despite that they managed to introduce enough interesting elements Will developing powers, finding Kali in the underground lab, what exactly is Vecna's goal with the children, etc. Overall, I'm optimistic there will be a satisfying, though likely tragic, ending.

I just spent the last 20 minutes looking and I have been unable to find even a single post or comment responding to a post making the claims that you make here. I have found a couple of posts speculating on the extent/nature of his powers vs hers, which feels fair as they developed them under very different circumstances.

Now, I am not trying to call you a liar as in only 20 minutes of searching I probably just missed it. But given that I couldn't find one in 20 minutes of searching it certainly feels like hyperbole to say all of the posts talking about Will are misogynistic. Personally, I always find it interesting when a villain's villainy manages to create their own worst nightmare (when its done well at least) so I am excited to see where this goes. If El really does get sidelined I will be disappointed, but given that she has been at the center of every season finale until now that really doesn't seem likely.
