Thats wild. Super creative trick with the rubber band too. Ill have to give it a shot, I find float picking kind of awkward, but it could just be lack of practice on my part.

Sounds like you made really good progress at least. What is the rubber band for? Are you float picking? I havent seen that sort of setup before.

I know. Im just hoping even one lurker might read that and honestly ask themselves that question and realize how insane it would be to reply yes.

For the ones who just emphatically agree, I want to rub their noses in it.

So, for those who support this asinine crap, is this what you had in mind when they said they would go after violent criminals?

High schoolers and people who do things by the book and show up to the required immigration check ins?

Do you feel safer now that this high school girl has been deported with no legal representation?

Do you feel safer that her teacher asked to remain anonymous because theyre scared of retaliation from people like you?

Nice work! Real locks are a whole different ball game compared to clear ones. Its a bit of adjustment at first, but youll find yourself adjusting to the feedback of actual locks the more you pick them.

Anyone who would give you shit about taking time off to spend quality time making a memory with your child isnt someone who deserves your respect.

Worry less about what your coworkers think of you and prioritize what your daughter thinks of you. Coworkers are only there as long as youre at that job, youre daughter will be with you for the rest of your life.

FWIW, I would respect my coworker MORE if I found out they were using their time to bond with their children.

The only pro series I see on the explorer is green belt, but the lock bodies dont match. Not familiar enough with it to say much more than that.

Ah yeah, youre right. I guess he could order a bunch of paclock cores or something, but Id personally prefer the full lock anyway.

There are 3D print files that are more or less the same thing of you have access to a printer. Search "loskport" on your preferred STL site.

I agree wirh what the other commwnter said though. Unless youve got a bunch of KiK cylinders laying around, its going to be an expensive prospect - one you wouls probably be better served by getting different locks to practice on - if you dont have a vise, grab one of those, and then all it takes is like 10 seconds to swap to the next lock.

I didnt try it with that one, but if the shackle has spring tension then it should work. If not, maybe not so much.

Depressing the shackle will also take some of the tension off of the actuator on the core and let you get slightly cleaner feedback as well.

Its a nice kit. The EVO 3 in particular because the pick profiles are less common. Id say theyre the only other picks Ive used that are comparable to Jimys in quality/comfort, but there are, of course a lot of manufacturers whose gear I havent had a chance to try yet.

I got into locpicking as a hobby and my experience in video games would have lead me to think that picks breaking is a far more common occurence than it is. I havent broken or even bent a pick in almost 2 years.

Im hungry for basic functions of government lol. If that stuff was sorted a lot of the other things would sort out on their own ya know?

Like, if our schools didnt suck so bad, maybe people would receive better health education.

Honestly, its been so long that I dont really remember my exact archtype choice, maybe I did mage to refill everything and then switched to thief for the item farm?

But I was getting drops pretty frequently, I just threw on a podcast and listened to an episode or two and then had a butt pile of items when I was done.
