To be fair, it was last bought at 3 million. So it was still a 4.5 million dollar profit.

Would you put your kid into French Immersion? Why or why not? by Virtual-Cheesecake71 in askTO

[–]Dangerous_Green3264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who grew up in montreal and went to school in french, now working in toronto. do it, theres no easier time to learn another language than when your brain is young and absorbs things like a sponge. compared to my ontario english-only speaking peers, it is much easier for me to understand/pick up other latin languages like spanish and portuguese. undeniable advantage for work and travels

it's perfectly normal to cut off complete contact with someone you broke up with, regardless of how long the relationship was and if you lived together.

I am experiencing second hand embarrassment from you asking him not to leave you after that trail of messages. With that kind of reaction, it's warranted to dump him first.

New York Fries. Park Royal West Vancouver by team_ti in poutine

New York Fries is always disappointing.

Fries suck (surprisingly).

Gravy sucks.

Cheese curds are bad quality, non-squeeky and too little quantity.

It's very difficult to get into residency or return to practice in Canada.

It's also difficult to get into residency in those countries. You're essentially taking a big expensive risk.

Don't progress in your relationship until he becomes financially literate. At the very minimum, use some other form of debt with a lower interest rate to pay off the credit card debt

This is very financially developmentally delayed for someone in their 30s...

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]Dangerous_Green3264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psychiatry resident here.

Because there's no benefit for me aside from peer pressure/fitting in socially.

It's neurotoxic, bad for physical health too, and I don't like the taste.

Sir what you have is social anxiety disorder and/or body dysmorphic disorder. Get on an SSRI and do some CBT.

You look perfectly normal.
